  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Wikipedia has some information on what Tesla actually achieved (and didn't) in terms of wireless power transfer.
Nothing practical for long distance transmission of power, which was what Tesla was aiming for.

Of course I do, but Tesla would have achieved his dream if only people had of believed in him, but unfortunately there were rich powerful people who stood in his way who's interest was only money. $
JP Morgan had invested the current equivalent of millions of dollars in Tesla’s ideas. He saw no return on his investment so naturally didn't continue investing more. You make it out as if rich people deliberately blocked Tesla’s developments because his ideas would erode their profits in other areas, which is factually baseless like most of your claims.
This just proves that free electricity was possible.
It does nothing of the sort.

Where in that interview does it refute what I've stated?

Tesla was right but Tesla was eventually undone by what he called “ignorant, unimaginative people, consumed by self-interest”— powerful men that sought to protect the immensely profitable, low-tech industries they had spent a lifetime building.
Tesla affectionately known as Tessy to his friends was a poor judge of character.

Key Derogatory Remarks Tesla Made About Einstein

• Poem “Fragments of Olympian Gossip” (1930s):

Tesla mocked Einstein directly, writing: “Now a long haired crank, Einstein by name, puts on your high teaching all the blame.” This was a satirical jab at Einstein’s reputation and theories.

• 1935 New York Times Interview:

Tesla dismissed relativity as:
The theory wraps all these errors and fallacies and clothes them in magnificent mathematical garb which fascinates, dazzles and makes people blind to the underlying errors. The theory is like a beggar clothed in purple whom ignorant people take for a king.
He accused Einstein and his supporters of being “metaphysicists rather than scientists.”

I read as much of the interview as I could but had to stop reading when he said, "My sixth sense tells me."

Animals have a sixth sense and the false Prophet Balaam.

So for me it was not revolutionary but more revealing, a lot of humbo jumbo, delving into impure forces.

Or rather influenced by impure forces.

This is the impression I got I may be wrong but even so, I know where to draw the line.

I watched a YouTube video of this guy using a drone to carry a mesh antenna up to the legal limit for drones, trailing a wire down to a series of home built instrument which indicate voltage, which successfully resulted in a couple of thousand volts.

So free energy, right?

Not really, as there was only a tiny current so barely 100th of a Watt of power, insufficient to do any kind of useful work. Plus his drone was expending a huge amount of energy to carry the weight of the antenna and trailing lead, way, way more than was being generated. Of course he could have used a balloon, but that ignores the large amount of energy necessary to extract helium from the atmosphere in the first place.
There simply is no such thing as free energy.
