Of course many are taking Joshua 10:12-14 literally, including me. The question that hasn’t been addressed is how those verses prove or disprove flat earth. Since God can do anything He wants, He could do it with a globe or flat earth. The verses don’t explain the problem in any way. I’ve searched the internet pretty well concerning the event, and I haven’t found anything that would indicate a flat earth. Are you saying that God couldn’t do it if the earth was a globe? The one thing everybody seems to agree with is that it didn’t make the day longer only the amount of sunlight.

It seems to me that flat earthers don't think God could do it with a globe earth as all sorts of things would happen beyond His control.

The sudden stopping of the earth's rotation would cause us all to fly off into space, for starters. Of course God couldn't stop that from happening, according to the flat earth mindset. How to belittle God 101!

The fact that the earth and the rest of the planets orbit the sun has been thoroughly and completely proven. The fact that the earth is round has been thoroughly and completely proven. This is simply how God’s creation is. There is no room for any other belief. It’s like saying that humans don’t breathe oxygen.

It is your burden of proof to prove the nonesense that the earth is flat and that the sun moves back and forth.

If I put a brick on the floor of my car and travel down the road at 60km/h, the brick does not move unless I slowdown or speed up. Secondly, lots of people with eyes and open minds can see the earth revolving around the sun.
