I don't know what Republicans will or won't do regarding credits. What I do know is that the CR keeps things as they were. And today, it looks like enough Democrats have agreed to open the government on the Biden budget and THEN negotiate additional spending.

The answer of course, is to ban the rigging of districts for any reason. But the Supreme Court is so corrupt that it will take a new law to stop this debasement of democracy.

Because the next time you go into the bar he'll do exactly the same thing. He wants to do it and nobody is stopping him. Including you. If every time you turn the other cheek he slaps it then at some point you have to get up off the floor, say enough is enough and smack the guy back.

Y'know what? The rest of the bar will give a little cheer and people will want to buy you a beer.

Keep walking out and 1) you lose respect from everyone. And 2) you keep getting beat up every time you walk back in.

Or, if the analogy is too obscure for you, if you're the Dems and you accept every dirty trick the GOP hits you with and do nothing then 1) you lose the respect of those who voted for you. And 2) the GOP will carry on doing it.

Look, I don't really care myself. Its been part of the process for Democrats and Republicans forever. Now someone wants to be upset? Give me a break. Democrats-"You're doing what we've been doing so we are going to raise a stink!"

Neither side has a leg to stand on and certainly does not have the moral high ground. They are both rolling around in the mud equally.

Agreed. But then certain groups would complain they are being discriminated against. I would seriously do a grid system with equal square miles.

I think you just missed the point of the analogy. Let me try to clarify: The bar is the country, the person kicking you is a political party resorting to unfair or dirty tricks to win an election. In this analogy, your solution, "just get up and walk away," would equate to leaving the country.

Is that your best solution for handling political disagreements or responding to unfair political tactics?
