  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good question, hmm ........ Pass ......
Let me give you a clue; the answer is that the sun is not in a heat resistant dome.

Of course you're not going to answer that; it contradicts everything you've just been saying.

How do we feel the warmth of the sun if it's within a heat resistant dome?

Just found the answer; :)

We feel the warmth of the sun within a heat-resistant dome because the dome material can be transparent to the sun's radiant energy (electromagnetic radiation, specifically visible light and infrared), which is then absorbed by our skin and other surfaces inside the dome.

You can only find "answers" to these things by looking in science textbooks - even though you think scientists are liars.
You can't find them by looking in Scripture.
Why?

Because the Bible is not a science textbook.
Case proven, thank you very much.

Yes it is, if the sun weren't behind in the firmament the earth & us would fry.

Another name for liquid glass is.
Sodium silicate.

Sodium silicate & is available in liquid or solid form and is known for its use as a strong, heat-resistant adhesive also the technical and common name for a mixture of such compounds, chiefly known as waterglass, water glass, or liquid glass.
I wonder where you found that. I just looked at the Encyclopaedia Britannica entry for water glass which says:

"water glass, a compound containing sodium oxide (Na2O) and silica (silicon dioxide, SiO2) that forms a glassy solid with the very useful property of being soluble in water. Water glass is sold as solid lumps or powders or as a clear, syrupy liquid. It is used as a convenient source of sodium for many industrial products, as a builder in laundry detergents, as a binder and adhesive, as a flocculant in water-treatment plants, and in many other applications."

No mention of it being called "molten glass." "Molten" means in a melted state.

Contradicting yourself again.

What are 5 examples of refraction? Rainbows, atmospheric refraction, distortion of underwater objects, telescopes, and prisms are all examples of refraction in the natural world. It is caused by the bending of light as it passes through mediums.

No, it was online actually, AI over view.
But it wasn't from the Bible.
You are trusting AI - artificial, man made intelligence - over Scripture.

Yes, and rainbows are caused when sunlight passes through the medium of water in raindrops. Before, you said that rainbows and sundogs were caused by reflection by a solid dome firmament.

There's a lot more to the Bible than just the Gospels.
Nobody, as far as I have seen, has been arguing that the bible is "just the gospels", so I wonder why you are saying that.
