Another look at the moon landing.

If God was so upset/displeased that men had walked on the moon, why did he let them do it on 3 further occasions?
12 men walked on the moon - 12.

But they haven't walked on the moon.

It wouldn't surprise me if someone, somewhere was drawing a comparison between the 12 tribes of Israel, the 12 disciples, the 12 precious stones which decorate the wall in Revelation 21 and the 12 who walked on the moon.

Well NASA would have to make it 12, what a huge coincidence.

God has not given a command that says men should never go to the moon.

Why would NASA have to make it 12? Are you saying that they made it 12 to be the same as the number of tribes of Israel, and the number of apostles? Surely not, because according to you, NASA is trying to hide God.

There have been many space craft that have tried to go to the moon.
Some haven't made it and the people on board lost their lives. Some have - and of those that have 12 people have walked on the moon.

One minute you are refuting this and saying that no one walked on the moon; the next, you are saying that NASA arranged it so that 12 people walked on the moon.
Make your mind up.

What is the difference between the meaning of your words, "Well NASA would have to make it 12." and Strong in Him's words, "you are saying that NASA arranged it so that 12 people walked on the moon?" "Make it so" and "arrange it so" both mean NASA deliberately taking action so that the number was 12.

We seem to be back with your notion that the firmament must be a solid dome. The Hebrew word can mean "expanse." Strong's Concordance has this entry:

"07549. raqiya [raw-kee -ah;] from 07554; properly, an expanse, i.e. the firmament or (apparently) visible arch of the sky: firmament."

So the firmament isn't necessarily a solid dome that would stop rockets going to the moon, or meteors landing on the earth.

Prodromos you’ve never heard of people being burned for the Bible. I read you be of the Eastern Orthodox faith. So perhaps it is not an essential part of your Orthodox histories But there was a time in history before and during the Reformation that people burned at the stake for doing just that. It was more a Roman Catholic -Protestant thing. The citations be numerous but I give you one.( Martyrs for the English Bible ) author Votaw Clyde Webes. Quote In 1539 5 Scotch men were burned alive at the stake in Edinburgh for merely studying m emorizing and preaching the word of God in English. You can find online PDF on page 296. And of course you have the Foxes book of Martyrs essential reading to any Christian of how we obtained many of freedoms to freely read the Bible

But I was asking why NASA should make the number of men to go to the moon 12. Yes, Satan, when it suits his foul purposes, attempts to imitate God, but why should NASA, who you say seeks to hide God, want to draw people's attention to God? Besides, it is only 12 at the moment. It wasn't 12 after the first moon landing, and it will stop being 12 as soon as the next moon landing happens.
