CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would guess that he's embarrassed that his public announcements came to nothing.
He'll either come to his senses, repent and get on with preaching the Gospel, or he'll lie low and hope that people forget about him.

Want to hear Gods voice? Pray and let him guide you. You don't need a book to tell you how to communicate with the Father if you are his child. But also, don't neglect testing the spirits! They go hand in hand.

Or, want to hear God's voice? Read God's word. Want to hear it audibly? Read it out loud! I just wonder if anyone's heard of this author and what the book is really about. I'm afraid to read stuff like this. lol

Usually it gives examples but those examples are taught as fact. Like, "If the voice is really small, this is just like what Elijah experienced, so you can be confident it's God," and then that's it. So the "still small voice" is ALWAYS God? That's... that's not what the bible says... You'll find satan will then mimic that, if that's what you're going with. This is why I don't bother with books and stuff like that. Do I hear from God? Sometimes. Do I also get fakes from satan? Yep. But I'm not worried about hearing/experiencing anything because I don't want to lose out, but I'm also going to test it up the wazoo and make sure what is said is correct. If it's biblical, if it doesn't go against God's nature/personality, if it's consistent with what he's done in the past that is proven by scripture and if the root or the point is rooted in the fruit of the spirit and brings me closer to God while staying humble, then I'll accept it as a God response. If anything conflicts with any of that, I toss it. I want to hear from God, but I'm also not worried if the enemy tries to get in there and corrupts stuff. I'd rather grow so I can understand the Lord better and be better equipped to handle the enemy so that I can be a stronger warrior for Christ and be sent to do the Lords work, than to fear the enemies tactics.
I just find a lot of those books are written by people with not much experience.

He's super on point. The beginning of the video, he called it numerology, but he's also talking about gematria which is absolutely wrong as its rooted in Jewish mysticism of Kabbalah. People tend to merge the two practices. They then use a man made dictionary (strongs) and use it to interpret their omens. I'm really glad he's talking about it because it's being pushed by the charismatic movement.
The Joseph video is wild. I've also noticed that too... To give you another instance, I used to watch this guy named Dr. Barry Awe. You can search his channel on youtube. I haven't watched him for a few years now but in my feed, I saw that he also claimed God came to him and told him specifically that the rapture was feast of trumpets. Do you see an apology video from him? Nope, just another video with the next teaching or rapture prediction and people just sending him lots of love... people are absolutely going to follow people no matter what and it's seriously sad.
Thanks for the video, I 100% agree with him! Specially with twisting scripture, satan 100% still does it.

Barry Awe is nasty. I picked up almost immediately that there is alot very wrong with him and I began watching him early on! He basically mocks Christianity in general. Just no. Haven't watched his stuff in a long time. Thanks for that reminder, though!
Yep, they are watching pretty much all month. I've heard of "Halloween Rapture Predictions", too! These are the dumb sheep. The blind lead the blind until they all fall into a ditch.

There’s a lot of alleged watchman predicting the rapture, assassinations, calamities and the like. The majority use gematria and convince themselves they’ll find hidden truths. While it’s utilized by other parties and they aren’t wholly wrong about the symbolism that’s promoted. The topic frequently becomes their focus where the bulk of their discourse is omens and fiddling with numbers. There’s no consideration of the spirits behind these practices nor the ramifications of their actions on the viewer. They’re opening a lot of doors and the sense of rightness increases the longer they’re involved. Some venture away from the gospel and fall into gnosticism and others spend their days decoding symbols steeped in the occult.
The glaring omission in their conversation is its application to the gifts of the Spirit. You’ll rarely hear their practices described in those terms. The gifts of prophecy, word of knowledge and discerning of spirits are clear. We don’t need a calculator to hear from God. They’re leading many people astray.

People who are under the influence of demons always take pride in being "in the know" about things other people "can't possibly understand"
