That is, forcing another human being to do something they personally do not want to do on your behalf when you are perfectly capable of doing it yourself. Bonus points if threats of violence are included when your slave protests. And you’re not compensating them for their work either.

Disagree. You may be stealing for a good cause. Selfish isn’t something you do but what you are.

I think selfishness is the desire to have more than everyone else.

But it’s not selfish. Stealing can happen for selfless reasons. Don’t confuse selfishness with doing harm.

Not only is it gain at someone else's expense, but it is another example of selfishness... self-justification. Theft over humbling oneself and begging?

The words of Jesus about man not living by bread alone require a lot of stretching to make them mean: "The also need entertainment to live." The context of those words is His temptation in the wilderness:

“And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’”” (Lu 4:3-4 NKJV)

He didn't say: "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by entertainment as well.’”
