I don’t know what‘s true or not but don’t set aside your scrutiny. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or dig into narratives. And when you buck the crowd embrace it. That may be the difference between longer days or being the victim of deception. No one knows it all and there’s a lot we’re in the dark about. But the hidden things will be revealed and erring on the side of caution in the present is wise.

To pretend to be half way to the moon and then to post this picture of the earth from the blacked out capsule window when the stop button popped back up on the recording showing full sunlight in the cabin is real deception at it's best.

Luckily for us this film got into the wrong hands showing us their deception & trickery.

If NASA didn't produce this film then it must have been Disney

Duke wrote in his autobiography that his temper, ego, single-minded devotion to work, and greed had ruined his relationship with his wife and his children, and that his marriage teetered on the verge of divorce in the late 1960s and early 1970s, with Dotty suffering from depression and having considered suicide at one point.

This doesn't read well about Charles Duke.

Yes, I read it.
I wrote that so that you would reflect on your statement. Charles Duke is a Christian. He gives talks to people about going to the moon. During these he says something like; "walking on the moon was not the biggest part of my life - meeting Jesus was".

I know this because I have watched a clip of his testimony. Many other people have too, including Apple Sky.
Many Christians give thanks to God for his conversion and public testimony about Jesus - you call him a liar.

I have no doubt that many unbelievers go to hear his talks because he walked on the moon - they end up hearing the Gospel. Some may even become Christians because of what Charles says. Maybe any such conversions are false and they haven't really become Christians at all.

Are we giving carte blanch for honesty to alleged believers now? We don’t know the individual personally or their walk with the Lord. Just because someone claims to be christian doesn’t mean we’re required to believe them or support what they do.

The bible tells us to try the spirit. If someone’s discernment leads them to raise questions or exercise caution it’s fine. If yours leads you to do otherwise that’s okay. I’d rather be wrong than deceived.

Before he became a Christian, maybe. He became a Christian AFTER the moon landings.

If you're trying to say that his statement about walking on the moon is a lie because he -used to have a bad temper and nearly divorced his wife; that's nonsense.

Most people have never explored the requirements for working at NASA or government agencies for that matter. You don’t have access to sensitive things without security clearance and signing agreements. When discoveries are made they make them sign an NDA. Getting to the truth isn’t as simple as some suggest without serious consequences.

I don’t believe NASA exists for the purpose it says or much that comes from the agency. It’s not about conspiracy theories but understanding how power works which keeps me skeptical. Our rulers aren’t benevolent. It’s impossible to judge what you see and hear without addressing that beforehand.

Giving public talks isn’t a testament to someone’s character or belief in God. We have charlatans in the pulpit.

I worked for a political appointee that knew the president personally and assisted with his campaign. You will never know what happened during his time at NASA. You’ll know what he’s permitted to say and nothing more.

Charles wasn't the only astronaut who has since become a Christian.

You encounter a lot of things while working for the government. As the saying goes, you never know someone until you live with them. There’s things you experience behind the scenes you didn’t expect. Where that differs from other industries is their power. Who do you run to when the government’s the bad guy? You have nowhere to turn.

Religion may be a genuine response or coping mechanism. Only the Lord knows for certain.

Wasn't that before he became a Christian, though? By no means all Christians can look back on their pre-conversion life as being lived in a good way. Paul wrote to the Christians at Corinth:

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” (1Co 6:9-11 NKJV)

It does read well in that it is his autobiography. He freely admits his unrighteousness. Like all Christians, he is now relying on a far better righteousness - the perfect righteousness of his Saviour.
