You mean like the MAGA movement killed him? Is that what Kimmel claimed?

Nothing at all there mocks the murder, or Mr Kirk himself. Its all about the rush to make political advantage from it, which is real.

He was mocking those who were dancing on Kirk's body, trying to make political points about it.

Too early to say that yet, although there is evidence for it. My guess is that he was a severely troubled kid who was infected by hate he was exposed to online, and was otherwise acting on his own.

Youre not making sense. Kimmel basically said the murderer was maga. That may well be false, and I think was dumb to say. But its certainly not saying the maga movement killed Mr Kirk.

You seem to be bending what Mr Kimmel actually said into whatever you need to sustain the maximum degree of outrage.

The ones dancing on his grave and celebrating his death and claiming the killer was right-winger/MAGA/Groyper are the ones who tried to make political points about the assassination of a political commentator.

Of course it makes no sense whatsoever to say anyone is making the assassination of a political commentator a political matter as if it isn't a political matter. It was okay to say the assassin was a MAGA, but once it's made clear he is a lefty, then it's "don't make this political".

Of course it makes no sense whatsoever to say anyone is making the assassination of a political commentator a political matter as if it isn't a political matter.

It could have been the Groypers who hated him; their slogans were on the cases of the bullets that killed him. They certainly hated Kirk. But it could also have been one disturbed young man. And as the days pass, it looks more and more like that. Not saying that it couldn't have been far-right extremists; they've done political killing before. Most recently the Minnesota Speaker of the House and her husband. As you know, right wing terrorists are responsible for the great majority of pollitical killings in America. It's an intrinsic property of right-wing extremism.

But in this case so far, it's not proven. Be patient.

His story might not be true, maybe he just wanted to sound like a tough guy, but he's so psycho it could be true. Look it up if you don't trust me, I'm not going to do the homework.

Despite the blunt tone Destiny used, I think it's generally true that having Trump in office has indirectly promoted the kinds of political violence we have seen in the past decade. Trump promotes extremist ideas and extremist individuals around him, so it's not surprising that more people feel the symbolic weight of that, a kind of changing of norms that doesn't just change the overton window, it erodes faith in the dependability of institutions.

Many who love America also hate Trump and what he thinks those "best interests" are.

You believe everyone who voted for him loves him and everyone who voted against him hates him? That’s a very simplistic view of the world.

In any case, every president has had people vote against them. None have ever been quite so hateful towards so many Americans over political differences.
