Right.... even if you disagree with that characterization, it's not just a tactic, some people do actually find things like xenophobia, homophobia, and racism to be moral boundaries that shouldn't be crossed. Even if the Right has a long history of "kayfabe", of peddling in contempt and dismissing it as "just business", but not every expression of moral disgust or indignation is performative moral posturing

That's dehumanizing rhetoric meant to be dismissive. It's also an anti-intellectual move.

There isn't one universal ideal of reason- Aristotilian syllogistic reasoning is just one logical system of many. And rejection of essentialist metaphysics, which is common in actual leftist discourse, isn't unheard of in traditional, non-western cultures, either. So really what you are talking about as defining "rationality" is hardly universal in scope, it's tied to a particular time and place.

No, I didn't. I said that he said hateful things. It's an important distinction - I don't know what he was really like as a person, seeing as I never met him.

I already explained why. As I said, if you look at that list of quotes and only see "disagreement with the leftist agenda," I don't know what to tell you. It's possible to disagree with Democrats without stating that they hate America, or to articulate your problems with affirmative action without saying that you worry that any Black person is unqualified for their job, or to express your concerns with illegal immigration without claiming that there's a conspiracy to replace white people in the US with immigrants.
