  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What video games are you currently playing?

Super Marios melee, super Mario party five...good memories! :D

Yeah. I also loved Mario Kart Double Dash and the original Animal Crossing.

Did you ever watch the television show X-Play? It was a great TV show that featured videogame reviews. TechTV (later G4) also had other videogames themed shows.

So nostalgic.

No, I never did. Never even heard of it.

I should check out Animal Crossing one of these days.

Here is a clip of an X-Play GameCube game review.

You never played Animal Crossing before? You should try it. It's a slower paced game. What's cool is that the game has an internal clock. So whatever time it is for you in real life, it is also the same time in the game. They also have Holidays in the game, although other than New Years Eve the Holidays are slightly different than the real life ones.

You can fish and stuff, and you can only catch certain fish depending on the month. Not sure if you have played farming sims like Stardew Valley before, but it's similar.

I have my DS and 3DS somewhere. Not sure where my Gameboy or Gameboy Advance is. Sadly I think I sold the Gameboys long ago.

While I found the latest Nintendo Direct underwhelming. I am glad that we finally have a release date for Metroid Prime 4, coming out this December.

While sadly probably not a free update, I wouldn't mind playing Stardew Valley again using mouse controls on the Switch 2 joy-con controller.
