We all know Trump was involved with Epstein. I want the papers and names released, but I don’t think it will matter. The people always knew won’t be surprised and the ones who don’t want to believe it or have made peace with their guy being an associate of a human trafficker and a pedophile won’t care. It’ll be “it was different times” and “but look at how he’s atoned since” and “he’s still doing great work for the country” or “yeah but so-and-so and so-and-so were listed too.” The status quo is maintained, nothing changes, we all just end up looking at the people who defend it with more distrust and skepticism, and then move on with life.

If only people shared that view with human traffickers south of the border. Especially ones that got blown up by navy warships.

I don’t think it would have stopped it. We all know he’s on it, and those who don’t believe it would justify or excuse it once it was confirmed. The man has no ethics, a convicted felon, a multiple adulterer, somebody who patronizes sex workers (home and abroad), and was found liable for one assault already. The same people who were able to put aside their ethics to elect him in view of all that would have no problem doing the same when it comes out he was tied to Epstein and raping and trafficking girls.

I think I understand now. Going after white human traffickers is protecting American integrity. But going after Hispanic human traffickers is intolerance to people south of the border. Is human trafficking part of some South American cultural identity that I am unfamiliar with and should be protected?

I admire your commitment to being spectacularly wrong in all scenarios where you could be found to be wrong.

This is not at all how military target determination, international water laws, what people are entitled to in suspected illegal activities, nor how a combatant is determined. I mean, outside of North Korea. In the rest of the world, you’re not allowed to determine an enemy and use lethal force against them in an area they’re allowed to be in. Since Venezuela just buzzed our ships, we are lucky they have more ethics than we do… They could have applied that same logic to bomb our ships.

Of course, that would aggravate you because the only people who can act with that level of impunity is us, I suspect.
