Despite how widespread her research has become, Honey described herself in emails to Votebeat and Spotlight PA as "an ordinary citizen working hard to do what I can to restore confidence in elections."

That, combined with her numerous errors in what she has reported, and had amplified by others in the 2020 election fraud industry, would seem to indicate that she's not just unqualified, but disqualified for such a position.

Here's the thing. Based on what I've read from the left, they claim virtually every single member of the current administration is completely unqualified and the only reason they were appointed is because they're a "Trump loyalist sycophant". This person is just the latest one. Whoever the next appointee is, it will be the same thing.

We know that each state is in charge of supervising their own elections. Federal oversight would most likely be concerned with foreign government interference/cybersecurity, etc. Therefore, qualifications would likely be pursuant to some expertise in that area.
