  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Those are parallels among the truly abusive situations. And youre just reiterating the reasons why I agree that these kind of "underage" relationships need to be illegal and culturally discouraged.

The Macron marriage doesn't appear to be in that category - in that theirs appears to be one of those rare situations where an actual loving relationship underlied the whole thing even though it began in a way we need to reject.

You seem exceedingly eager to blunt the Epstein thing by one angle or another.
No, quite the opposite -- I'm not blunting anything, I've been particularly critical of the Epstein situation. If one of those girls' dads shot him on camera, that would be an "instant karma" video I would watch on a loop.

I'm saying that other abuses in that same realm need to be elevated and viewed the same way.

As far as the Macron's loving relationship, weren't they just recorded in an incident 2 months ago where she hit him in the face? (covered by CBS)

At least they still have a marriage.

I do see why we need to make her initial behavior illegal. But now we have hindsight and their particular whole thing doesnt look at all as disturbing as trafficking minors to pass around for sexual services to various people.

Not all-the-same.

French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte are preparing to submit scientific and photographic evidence to a US court to prove Brigitte is a woman.

"It is incredibly upsetting to think that you have to go and subject yourself, to put this type of proof forward," [their lawyer] said.
"It is a process that she will have to subject herself to in a very public way.
"But she's willing to do it. She is firmly resolved to do what it takes to set the record straight."
I don't know that it'll tamp down any of the conspiracy theories.

They weren't specific in what the scientific evidence would be, and they mentioned the photographic evidence was going to be a picture of her when she was pregnant.

I can already predict what the conspiracy theory rebuttals will be:
1) "They paid off some French lab to produce phony results"
2) "Why didn't she release that picture of her when she was pregnant before? Why wait until now? That picture must be AI-generated"

Wow. Can't people learn to be kind and mind their own business? Good grief.

Candace Owens is permitted to say things others can’t. She’s married to George Farmer (former CEO of Parler & former Chairman of Turning Point UK). His father is Lord Michael Farmer. She’s spoken candidly about Brigitte Macron and Netanyahu and her channel remains. We’ve seen different results with others.

You know, just my 2 cents: She recently converted to Roman Catholicism. I'm not sure if she was a Christian before. With her huge platform, she could be sharing about the Roman Catholic church, and Jesus and the gospel. She could be sharing about marriage and raising her children in the faith. Instead she's sharing ridiculous conspiracy theories.
Even if this is true(and I doubt it is) SO WHAT?

A) By the left's own rules, there's no such thing as "used to be a woman", if I were a trans-man, that would mean that I was always a man, and was simply born in the wrong body
Why should "the Left's own rules" apply?
1) Macron is definitely right of center.
2) This is a civil law suit. The law applies.

People usually don't sue to prove something that ought to be self-evident. I wouldn't sue someone who claims I am a woman when I know what I am. Seems ever more likely Macron's wife may be his husband?
And if they chose to ignore Candice, then people would be saying it must be true she’s a man because they haven’t countered the rumors.
