Again you misunderstand my argument. I never argued that the explosion of crime in her district is her fault.
Sure looked like it. Or at least that's what the link in the OP wanted and you didn't notice.
I do argue that her negligence and lack of representation in her district speaks volumes on her ability to “represent”. I’m sure she is aware of the tremendous rise in crime but still does not address her constituents or pushes for help from the city leaders.
And yet you haven't said anything about her work in and with her constituents. All we get are the disingenuous article in the OP link and complaints about her work on the national stage.
Of course they are but her constituents are local so while she is trotting along in the federal realm (and with Bernie) her people are facing the brunt of a crime riddled district.
It's weird how federal legislators get concerned about the rate of tariffs and other federal taxes, the size of the federal budget, whether we go to war or not, and other things concerning our national government. It is almost like that is there job or something.
So who would you talk to in NYC. I’m not from there. In Houston we have city managers and a mayor. Maybe that’s what is wrong with New York, no one knows who to talk to.
New Yorkers have city councilors. You may have noticed the primary election for mayor of the whole city. Collectively they control that police agency no one has ever heard of -- NYPD, I think they call it.
BTW- your opinion on my understanding of the topic is not welcomed.
Your posts have been nothing but an excuse to empty attacks on a member of Congress. Your understanding may exceed that portrayed in your posts, but you still made those posts.

Not much work to see.

Thats part of their job but there is more. Here is their job descriptions again for your perusal.

Glad to know it.

Your opinion is noted. AOC still bad.

Didn't realize that Texas was in her district.
Fulfilling her responsibility on a national level and putting actions where her mouth is.
As far as the postal banking I doubt that her intention was to save money to poor rural people,
Maybe you skipped the message about urban people needing banking help. Sen. Gillibrand of NY was there also supporting the same bill.

Is the any Democrat you like or can say anything good about?

Great. Keep up the good work except in her district.

Not really. At this point I blame the Democratic Party for giving us Trump. And yet all I see is a defense of the politicians that lost the last election because they didn’t care about the regular guy and allow the far left idiots like AOC to define their message. You want a change then demand better and stop defending the leaders of your party.

It wasn't AOC and the Berniecrats who "defined their message." In fact the Democrats have been expending a great deal of effort to cut them out, just because they care more about the working class than about culture was issues. The effort in itself also cost the Democrats a great deal, from Hillary muscling Bernie out of contention in 2016, (which was when I left the party--being a working man myself) down to running a tired old man who didn't really want the job and an untested woman who didn't seem to know what the agenda was. It almost seems as if satisfying their neolib backers was more important to them than winning. They lost the working class vote to a con man and they won't be getting it back.

How do you account for the refusal of Democrats to allow "far left idiots" (by which he means Bernie & Co) into the tent?.
I think hes back in. He and AOC have been working together. Back in 2016 Bernie was forced out due to the Clinton machine. The Democrats have moved further left since then. Both economically and socially.

They've always been working together.
Back in 2016 Bernie was forced out due to the Clinton machine.
And kept out by Democrats who were desperate enough to nominate a tired old man who didn't really want the job and then a lightweight who didn't have clue what was going on. Not just Bernie, but anybody else in the party who wanted to run on labor issues.
The Democrats have moved further left since then. Both economically and socially.
Close your eyes, tell yourself that then click your heels together three times...

Since 2016? Not like now.

Yes rhey have the fact that you don't see it, isnt surprising. I posted a link.in one if my threads concerning how Democrats now identify as leftist and how it is much higher than back then. By a LOT. So poo poo it away, but the Democrats themselves said so. At a rate of 69%. Comparing that to 2004 which was like 35% or something.

And with the rise of people like Mamdani and Tim Walz, Omar Fateh among others. Live in denial if you wish but the truth is the Democrats are going further and further left. There is plenty of evidence of that. Even left leaning media admits that.
