But it doesn't keep rising.
Depends how much wind there is.Neither does a balloon.
Which has nothing to do with the shape of the earth.-It happens all the time concerning God's free gift of Eternal Life which is received by believing in Jesus.
Which has nothing to do with the shape of the earth.
Flat earth Christians, globe earth Christians - both saved.
No, I asked you that IF the Bible had a verse/verses which said, "I, the Lord, made the earth to be flat and stationary", are you saying that Christians would not believe it?-Which i was not making that, the point, but you choose to bring that up. Showing you do not really want to address point made.
There are no verses/passages in Scripture where God speaks and instructs us on the shape that he made the planet.
There are no verses which say that, either.Your right as no way did God create a planet he created a level unmovable plain.
There are no verses which say that people cannot study how the world works, that we cannot make discoveries or invent things, that we cannot have hobbies etc etc.
The Bible does not say any of these things - and much, much more.
What's wrong with Wales? What’s wrong with Wales?
Not necessarily - inventing a story about the earth being a flat, yet 40,00 foot deep shape with 4 corners is much the same as making it up.There's a difference between inventing & making stuff up.
Like what?Your right the Bible doesn't tell us about many things but it does tell us the truth about the earth. sun, moon & the stars.
- No real country would have a town named "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch".
No, I asked you that IF the Bible had a verse/verses which said, "I, the Lord, made the earth to be flat and stationary", are you saying that Christians would not believe it?
You didn't actually answer. Your reply was, "happens all the time", and you then referred to salvation and Christians claiming that Jesus + somethings else saves - thus changing the subject.
The answer to my question was either "yes, I am saying that", or "no, I didn't mean that at all."
There are no verses/passages in Scripture where God speaks and instructs us on the shape that he made the planet. Nowhere does God tell us that the earth is flat, or round, and it is important that we believe it.
Like what?
That doesn't tell us the truth about them.Like it is unmovable & the moon gives her own light & how the sun stopped etc etc etc ..............
So in other words, your answer was "yes. If there were verses in the Bible in which GOD said, 'I created the earth to be flat', I'm saying that Christians wouldn't believe him."-I did answer your question. I stated it happens all the time
It's not the same.and gave an actual real life example of believers or people who identify as Christian. who do not believe God's word given in The Bible about God's promise that all who believe in Jesus receive Eternal Life. Because they say it takes more than belief in Jesus.
Either God needs us to know the shape of the earth, or he doesn't.
So in other words, your answer was "yes. If there were verses in the Bible in which GOD said, 'I created the earth to be flat', I'm saying that Christians wouldn't believe him."
It's not the same.
Either God needs us to know the shape of the earth, or he doesn't. If he does he can tell us plainly, but the shape of the earth has nothing to do with knowing God, or salvation. Debate it for another 100 years, it makes no difference to anything.
Some verses about salvation can be interpreted in different ways. For example, repent and be baptised, and we see examples in the NT of people repenting and being baptised. This has led some to say, "you HAVE to be baptised to be saved." Some have looked at the OT where God told people to keep his laws, and seem to conclude that for us to be God's people, we have to keep all those laws too.
There are so many things that happen/don't happen because of how people interpret Scripture. Henry VIII even used it to try to justify getting a divorce from his first wife - though he misquoted it too.
The Bible is not a science textbook. It does not teach the "how" of creation or give scientific explanations for the beginning of the world.
It is not there to be pulled apart and taken out of context so that people can back up their own beliefs/arguments.
Some seem to think that unless they take every word in the Bible to be literally true, that is saying they don't believe God's word. That is not the case. In fact claiming that something is literally true when the writers did not intend it to be so, is doing the Bible a disservice.
You've never seen dew drops on a leaf?Never seen water curve.
He didn't. All he proved is that he is an idiot.David Marsh proved that gravity doesn’t exist
False statement. Wind is due to movement from high pressure to low pressure.Everything around you is electric, we have electrical storms, everything to do with the sky is electric.
Gravity can be, and is measured all the time, and no, electromagnetism cannot be seen. Only its effects can be seen, just like gravity. If you compare gravity versus electromagnetism, gravity has never been able to be measured, all they’ve done is create a theory to support the globe model, whereas electromagnetism can actually be seen.
Big nope. But what do you expect from someone who was convinced by Eric (the idiot) Dubay.I wouldn’t say I’ve disproven [gravity], but what I’ve proved is that electromagnetism is the only true force in nature.
Not from what I've seen. When you look into flat earth, the majority of research leads to electromagnetism.
Density can only work if you have gravityThe reason why objects fall is not because gravity is pulling it to the centre of mass, it’s simply because the object is more dense than the air around it. If you get a helium balloon and let it go, what happens? It goes up.
