There are not thick walls of ice surrounding the earth - and nowhere is this called Antarctica.

So what stops the seas from just flying off into space on a rotating ball ?

Genesis 1:6, God made a vault - some translations say "firmament". Gen 1: He called the vault "sky". The idea that this vault, or firmament is solid appears to have come from a misunderstanding of another verse where the sky is described as, "AS molten glass". The word "as" is a simile - it's comparing the sky to molten glass; it doesn't say that it IS molten glass.

So what stops the earth being sucked up into the vacuum of space ?

And what about God dividing the waters between below & above ?

So what stops the seas from just flying off into space on a rotating ball ?
Gravity. It stops every thing flying off into outer space.

Does water have weight? Of course it does. The weight of the seas is tremendous. Even a cubic foot of water weighs over 62lbs, so the weight of the water in a small lake would be enormous, and seas and oceans even more. It is the weight of the water which stops it from just flying off into space, just as your weight prevents you from doing the same.

Two imaginary lines.
They are not imaginary. They are the lines that the sun takes based on the time of the solstices.

Did you not know that? How do you account for them in a flat Earth model?

Never seen water curve.

I would imagine, gravity - you know, that thing you don't believe in.

So what stops the earth being sucked up into the vacuum of space ?
Gravity?
I don't know; I'm not scientifically minded. I would imagine that others on here could explain it to you - whether or not you'll listen, is doubtful.

David Marsh proved that gravity doesn’t exist

Everything around you is electric, we have electrical storms, everything to do with the sky is electric. If you compare gravity versus electromagnetism, gravity has never been able to be measured, all they’ve done is create a theory to support the globe model, whereas electromagnetism can actually be seen.

I wouldn’t say I’ve disproven [gravity], but what I’ve proved is that electromagnetism is the only true force in nature.

When you look into flat earth, the majority of research leads to electromagnetism.

The reason why objects fall is not because gravity is pulling it to the centre of mass, it’s simply because the object is more dense than the air around it. If you get a helium balloon and let it go, what happens? It goes up.

Nonsense.

Gravity cannot be shielded, electromagnetism can be shielded or canceled by opposite charges.

Gravity affects any object with mass or energy, electromagnetism affects only electrically charged particles.

Gravity is always attractive, electromagnetism can be both attractive and repulsive.

Two different forces.

I doubt that very much.
Take an assortment of objects - a feather, piece of paper, coin, book, football, balloon - and drop them. 100% of the time they will fall to the ground.
Everything around you is electric,
Air isn't electric, water, ice, food and many other objects aren't electric.
everything to do with the sky is electric.
The sun, moon, stars, clouds, rain, snow, birds etc are electric? Since when?
If you compare gravity versus electromagnetism, gravity has never been able to be measured
Do you need to be able to measure gravity to see that it exists?
all they’ve done is create a theory to support the globe model,
Theories can be tested and either proved, or disproved.
How are you going to disprove gravity when 100% of things that are dropped fall to the ground?
I wouldn’t say I’ve disproven [gravity], but what I’ve proved is that electromagnetism is the only true force in nature.
I doubt that as well.

The sun is helium; it doesn't go up.
How do you weigh the air around, say a piece of paper, to determine whether it is lighter/heavier than the paper itself?

Yeah but it doesn’t work. With no rain and only ‘mist’ none of the plants would survive. So it’ not how God’s creation functioned.

But see you prove my point that even if God has out right stated that His creation He created was flat and stationary. People would still not believe it, even believers in God.

It's already up
But it doesn't keep rising.
If it had risen higher in the sky each day for the last few million years, it would be in a black hole by now.

You're saying that IF there were verses in the Bible which said, "I, the Lord, made the earth to be flat and stationary", Christians - God's children - would not believe it or him?

Thanks for thinking so little of your fellow believers.

It happens all the time concerning God's free gift of Eternal Life which is received by believing in Jesus.

I have heard on this site and other place hundreds of times, belief in Jesus is not enough. A person must also do this and that, etc....
