I hope this is the new normal. Round the illegals up and send them home. We are happy to have people come if they apply to come here legally.

Its not enforcing an agenda. Its enforcing the law and against lawlessness.

At the moment I think they are most focused on big cities in blue states, but since they just budgeted almost $30 billion more they may increase their focus to include medium sized cities in red states. Who knows?
The ICE agents seem to lack discrimination (as in discernment), picking up combinations of undocumented, DACA, green card holders and even citizens based on racial (or ethnic) profiling.
There are plenty of meetings in churches, passing out of "know your rights" cards. If they don't fear for themselves, they fear for friends and relatives who are undocumented.
How unlike a Republican hero, Reagan, Trump is.

The problem seems to have arisen afterwards due to lax enforcement of the provisions to control future immigration in the succeeding 39 years---19 of which were under Republican Administrations (Reagan, George HW Bush, George W. Bush, Trump.) The immigrants I know who were granted citizenship in 1986 are model citizens, leaders in their churches, nurses, factory managers, etc. Just because they looked different didn't mean they were anything like the inaccurate vicious profiles we hear about immigrants today.

There are plenty of people such as myself and those in my town who are working to make it not the new normal. Awhile back, protesters shut down the off-ramp when ICE was in town and got them to move along. Short lived victory as they will come back, but satisfying.

Who is this "we" of which you speak? One of the big campaign points was your guys lying about a bunch of legal immigrants 1.) being illegal and 2.) eating pets. Now that he's in office, your guy is revoking temporary refugee status left and right, detaining asylum seekers, trying to revoke legal immigration status for free speech issues, making student visas contingent on making their entire social media presence public, and threatening to deport American citizens. Cutting back on legal immigration has always been one of the goals of Trump, people in his administration, and some others in the party.

Im not worried about it. This is happening because people are actively trying to obstruct ICE from doing their jobs and physically attacking them.

Thats what i hate seeing. Americans and illegals attacking our LE just teying to do their jobs.

We dont know if anyone was arrested. But I suspect not since someone leaked the raid information and flyers were out up to warn everyone that ICE was coming on rhe 7th.

I hope somebody runs a sting operation and finds out who is leaking thia stuff and toss them in prison forever.

Well over 100 officers deployed. Cavalry. Military vehicles. Surely, they were there for something?

But I suspect not since someone leaked the raid information and flyers were out up to warn everyone that ICE was coming on rhe 7th. I hope somebody runs a sting operation and finds out who is leaking thia stuff and toss them in prison forever.

Considering we’ve seen actual military plans for strikes leaked to the press by the highest officials in the DoD by mistake, maybe you’re overthinking this part a bit.

The Americans are being terrorized by the left with their rhetoric. There's no reason to be terrorized by agents doing theit job. Unless of course there is a group of people in cluding politicians telling them they should be afraid.
