Again, this was at the federal building that is currently surrounded by national guard and police up the wazoo. The Senator wouldn’t be in the building at all if he were any kind of threat to anyone there. I know you guys aren’t dumb enough to actually believe this lame excuse from DHS that Sen Padilla was posing any kind of threat to Secretary Noem so why do you insist?

First he made a quick move and got pretty close to her. The Secret Service agents are there to protect her. Once stopped he was non-cooperative and pushed back against security--they were right to take him down and handcuff him. Having an attitude that outside security would never have let a threatening person get that far would get a security person fired from their job.

It’s the first time I’ve ever seen a US Senator treated this way by federal authorities for simply wanting some answers from another government official at a press conference. I’ll say it again, this administration is at war with the United States itself. The people, their elected representatives, the courts, our elections. What were you watching? He came in ready to ask a question and was aggressively detained, removed and thrown down to the floor for no reason.
