If you think law enforcement acted improperly then file a complaint later on. Republican leaders have been constantly under threat of violence during this administration and do have security. Democrat leaders at this time should be talking to their base and telling them violence is not the way.

None of your videos show who initiated contact. In the official feed, you can hear him interrupt her prepared remarks, but can't see whether he was actually doing anything that could've been perceived as a threat.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said on Fox that Senator Padilla was not arrested. She added that law enforcement officers started to handcuff him but stopped after they were made aware of who he was.

Kamala Harris condemned the treatment of Senator Alex Padilla, calling it “a shameful and stunning abuse of power” in a social media post. The former vice president previously held the Senate seat that Padilla now holds.

They thought an attacker had got into the federal building that is currently being guarded by the NG, Marines and like half of LAPD? That doesn’t make sense. Sounds like an excuse to me.

Hopefully this is a wakeup call to liberals that they are in the minority and the quiet majority wants to stuff them in the basement. Just because a small minority screams the loudest, causes the most distruction, and waves the largest flags doesnt mean they speak for the rest of us.

ICE has been showing up at people's homes, approaching people on the street, and at their work places without producing an ID, refusing to do so when asked, sometimes in plain clothes and other times in tactical vests that just say "police" with their faces covered. Should those being approached by these people take their word for it when they claim to be ICE agents and be expected not resist when approached by them?
