And? While he was president the right thought he wasn’t doing enough on deportations. Now you seem to be saying he was even more effective than Trump with less chaos surrounding his deportations. Just another thing to add to the long list of Trump failures and inferiority to his predecessor.
The left wasnt out causing chaos then because it was their guy doing it. Its the lefts tactics that are causing the chaos.

Steven Miller will gladly fufill your wishes.

Yesterday, Miller and the president were suggesting this was an "insurrection"....

Here is what the law says (that Trump invoked):

Governors almost always control the deployment of National Guard troops in their states. But the directive signed by Mr. Trump cites ”10 U.S.C. 12406,” referring to a specific provision within Title 10 of the U.S. Code on Armed Services. Part of that provision allows the federal deployment of National Guard forces if “there is a rebellion or danger of a rebellion against the authority of the Government of the United States.”

It also states that the president may call into federal service “members and units of the National Guard of any State in such numbers as he considers necessary to repel the invasion, suppress the rebellion, or execute those laws.”

Mr. Trump’s directive said, “To the extent that protests or acts of violence directly inhibit the execution of the laws, they constitute a form of rebellion against the authority of the Government of the United States.”

This is no a rebellion....nor "a form of rebellion."
Nor an invasion.

It is a "show" of force designed to thrill the MAGA faithful.

The National Guard arrived this morning to quiet streets.....so far.
You are providing an opinion. Your opinion is just that. My opinion is that this is rebellion because they are attacking federal government agents doing the job o enforcing federal law under government authority. Thats a rebellion.

And my further opinion is that on Jan 6 the national guard should have been there as well.

Today, it's immigration protestors.
Rioters at minimum. A rebellion over the government as well
And from the reporting I've seen over the last 72 hours, there is no indication that local law enforcement need additional assisatance. Trump saw an opportunity...and jump on it.
After a couple of days of this I think they do need additional assistance.

All I saw was Mexican flags being waved in territory Mexico used to own. Los Angeles itself was incorporated in 1781.

But waving the flag of the former government for political protest purposes is a very American thing to do. I live in NC and people around here do that all the time.
Why are there Palestinian flags? They never had territory in LA. And if they are rioting to let their territory return to Mexico rhey should have done that long time ago.

Only hours after calling the protestors in central Los Angeles “insurrectionists,″ President Trump backed off a bit. “I wouldn’t call it quite an insurrection,″ he said. “But it could have led to insurrection.”

Earlier, Trump wrote on Truth Social that he had made “a great decision” in sending in the National Guard. “If we had not done so, Los Angeles would have been completely obliterated.”

About 700 Marines mobilized to support National Guard in Los Angeles

About 700 Marines have been mobilized to support National Guard members assigned to protect federal personnel and property in Los Angeles, according to two defense officials.

Well, the National Guard is clearly not up to the task. Bring in some real combat troops to, as the Speaker of the House stated this past weekend, maintain "peace through strength"

"One of our core principles is maintaining peace through strength. We do that on foreign affairs and domestic affairs as well. I don't think that's heavy-handed."

And we completely trust your promises.
I don’t care if you don’t. It’s stupid to think people here illegally trying to keep a low profile would go to a massive gathering of police and federal agents at a riot ready to arrest and or deport everyone they come across.

Like do you really think these people are that stupid? These are dumb, American teenage punks causing all this destruction.

...all according to plan. Invoking the Insurrection Act will be the next shoe to drop....all in time for the king's parade this Saturday.

"....the president wrote on social media that Los Angeles was being “invaded and occupied” by “violent, insurrectionist mobs,” and directed three of his top cabinet officials to take any actions necessary to “liberate Los Angeles from the Migrant Invasion.”

“Nobody’s going to spit on our police officers. Nobody’s going to spit on our military,” Mr. Trump told reporters as he headed to Camp David on Sunday, although it was unclear whether any such incidents had occurred. “That happens, they get hit very hard.”

The president declined to say whether he planned to invoke the 1807 Insurrection Act, which allows for the use of federal troops on domestic soil to quell a rebellion. But either way, he added, “we’re going to have troops everywhere.”

Stephen Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff, posted on social media that “this is a fight to save civilization.”

"save civilization?"

Yes save civilization. Far too many on The left have ddecided that violence is the answer for anything they dont like is violence and destruction. We are seeing it far too frequently now since 2020.

Mexican flags? Palestinian Flags? All these crew of radical leftists and illegal immigrants causing destruction and mayhem. All because officers are enforcing the laws of the land and they dont like it.

You really don't see the difference between what's happening now and past administrations? Under Trump, people have been deported and had their visas revoked without due process, and many have been sent to foreign prisons to be detained. The Trump administration has ignored court orders. Trump removed protections like Temporary Protected Status for many immigrants and the prohibition of ICE activities in and near schools, hospitals, and places of worship. Trump and others in his administration use intimidating rhetoric and threats that intentionally create fear and chaos in the migrant community. These are the reasons people are taking to the streets.
Most of those things are perfectly legal to do. Some are still under adjudication.

And so because one disagrees with it its okay to riot and destroy things. These are lawless acts just like the take overs of campuses.

There is a right way to protest and and wrong way. Unfortunately violence is the wrong way to protest policies you dont like.

Apparently the GOP thinks shooting that reporter in the back is certainly a big step in that direction.
You can see from the clip in this link that it was a deliberate shot aimed at her.

Or putting the best spin on this as possible, it was aimed at someone extremely close to her with willful disregard for her safety. And these projectiles aren't like getting hit with a squash ball or similar. They can be deadly. The police are meant to aim low. But that doesn't always happen and the bullet can often ricochet. If you get hit in the head then it can be fatal:
