The Alien Enemies Act grants the President the authority to detain or deport non-U.S. citizens. The act allows for the apprehension, restraint, and removal of alien enemies without a court hearing.
During wartime or an invasion, but neither of those conditions apply at this time. That's why a federal judge ruled that Trump unlawfully invoked the Alien Enemies Act.

Millions of foreigners pouring into the country is an invasion. And things they're doing like murdering US citizens, killing US citizens by bringing deadly drugs and human trafficking makes them an enemy.

There are other laws on the books to deal with those issues. The Aliens Enemy Act isn't one of them.

The administration says it is.
The courts have already ruled that the Trump administration is wrong. The Alien Enemies Act requires either a declared war by Congress, or an “invasion or predatory incursion” that is “perpetrated, attempted, or threatened by a foreign nation or government.

"...whenever there shall be a declared war between the United States and any foreign nation or government, or any invasion or predatory incursion shall be perpetrated, attempted, or threatened against the territory of the United States, by any foreign nation or government, and the President of the United States shall make public proclamation of the event, all natives, citizens, denizens, or subjects of the hostile nation or government, being males of the age of fourteen years and upwards, who shall be within the United States, and not actually naturalized, shall be liable to be apprehended, restrained, secured and removed, as alien enemies."

There are way too many immigration laws and laws against murder, human trafficking and drug trafficking on the books for me to list here.

Looks like enough of that applies.

Do any of them apply to how the administration is handling the situation?

None of it applies. What foreign country is currently “perpetrating, attempting, or threatening" to invade the United States?

"or any invasion or predatory incursion shall be perpetrated, attempted, or threatened against the territory of the United States, by any foreign nation or government". The stance of the administration is that foreign nations have been getting rid of their criminals by sending them to the US and that they're entering without consent ie invading.

Then the proper response would be to declare war against those countries.

It doesn't matter what the Trump administration's stance is, several courts have ruled otherwise.

...there is no evidence countries are sending their criminals. It's a lie...a lie that Trump repeats regularly.

'Made-for-TV': Dr. Phil took part in ICE raids that sparked massive LA riots

President Donald Trump's ally and talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw was embedded with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement during contentious raids that sparked furious protests in Los Angeles, allowing him to use footage from the operation for his streaming show.

"McGraw’s presence on the ground in L.A. reinforces the made-for-TV nature of Trump’s immigration crackdown," wrote CNN.com.

According to the report, McGraw was present during the raids on Friday “to get a first-hand look at the targeted operations,” claimed his channel.

ETA: Phil wasn't personally there in LA, but he had been at earlier raids in Chicago: “MeritTV news crews were on the ground during the recent ICE operation in L.A. on Friday,” a MeritTV spokesperson said. “In order to not escalate any situation, Dr. Phil McGraw did not join and was not embedded, as he previously was in Chicago.”

Maybe for now but once the illegals are gone, the police state doesn’t go away. They’ll find some new group to go after next to justify their missions and their budgets.

By all means, deport the illegals. Why do the rest of us law abiding citizens need to be terrorized in the process?
Its not the law abiding citizens who are there rioting. Its the non law-abiding citizens who are terrorizing the police and other citizens who are there.

They're putting on a show, a show for people just like you. Why not just sit back and enjoy it? It's what you wanted, isn't it? Tough zero tolerance against people who have committed the most heinous crime imaginable?
You mean like raping people with foreign objects? Or maybe shooting at occupied structures?

Places like Home Depot have been raided for decades. Obama was nicknamed the Deporter in Chief. The only thing really new about this is the current reaction to it.
And the only reason there is such reaction is because its Trump doing it. It it was Obama we would t hear a peep. Just like we didn't back then.
