Comer Announces the Oversight Committee Will Continue Investigating the Cover-Up of Biden’s Mental Decline & Use of Autopen

WASHINGTON—House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) today announced the panel will continue its investigation into the cover-up of President Biden’s mental decline and use of autopen. Last Congress, Chairman Comer subpoenaed three key White House aides – Annie Tomasini, Anthony Bernal, and Ashley Williams – who ran interference for President Biden and also requested a transcribed interview with his physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor. The Biden White House obstructed the Committee’s investigation and refused to make the aides available for depositions or interviews. Chairman Comer also subpoenaed the audio recordings related to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into President Biden’s mishandling of classified documents, but Attorney General Merrick Garland defied the subpoena.
“Key decisions made in the final days of the Biden presidency, including using autopens to issue blanket pardons for the Biden Crime Family, must be fully examined. There are serious concerns that President Biden lacked the mental capacity to authorize those actions. The American people are done being lied to. We’re going to bring the truth into the light, and starting next week, those involved in the cover-up will begin to be put on notice,” said Chairman Comer.
I can’t take Comer seriously when he say something like “Biden Crime Family”

He’s already determined guilt, now he just needs to find a crime.

Sounds familiar
Let’s se if he can get enough evidence to send to the DOJ and actually get something prosecuted this time. Or maybe it’s just all about the show.

There is a reason they are popular...
Sure. They tell their viewers what they want to hear. Echo chambers can be very popular.

What we do know, for a fact, proven and documented, is that Fox News has knowingly lied to their viewers. And if their popularity is a result of that, it simply means that there are a lot of people who have no problem being lied to.

MAGA does seem to bear that out pretty well, too.

people don't watch popular shows that are not popular by definition...soooo many people leave FOX on as background and then report it on Nielson ratings lol?? Again, nice try.
I only posited that as an idea; I don't know any Nielson families, nor what their viewing habits are. But I do know some Fox News viewers who habitually leave it on as background, and aren't always sitting in front of the TV for all the hours it's on.

Which might show only that echo chambers aren't as popular among liberals. Who can say for sure?

Personally, as a liberal, I tend to pay very little attention to mainstream cable news, or any single media outlet for that matter. I usually glean information from a variety of sources, and when I find some information that seems questionable, or controversial, I make the effort to figure out the facts and discard the opinions and speculation. Probably the journalist in me.

I'm not very good at being told how to think about something. I'm more contrary than that.

From what I have seen liberals tend to like the bee hive mentality and all try and use the same buzz words and repeating the same rhetoric. I am not good at being told how to think either...

Yes, buzzwords; Like socialism, CRT, Woke, and DEI, and stolen elections all while not even knowing what those buzzwords mean.
You have it backwards.

I once knew a Nielsen family, back in the days when there were only 1700 of them. They had the box on their TV but they never watched TV. the only time they used the TV was when they were going out. They would turn it on to a random channel and leave it going to deter burglars.

Unlike the example provided for the right, the left can define those terms. Like this one:

Fascism is a far-right political ideology and movement characterized by strong central authority, extreme nationalism, and a suppression of opposition, often with a focus on a charismatic leader. It typically emphasizes a sense of national unity and sometimes incorporates racist ideologies"

So given those terms and the current state of US politics, does that definition ring a bell come characteristics?

Like this one?

"Woke" originally meant being aware of social injustices, particularly around race, gender, and inequality, often tied to activism or heightened social consciousness. It’s evolved into a broader, vaguer term for hyper-awareness of perceived moral or cultural issues, sometimes leaning into performative righteousness or dogmatic groupthink. Critics see it as ideological overreach;

No, what the word "woke" means and meant:

"The word “woke” first appeared in the lexicon of African American Vernacular English (AAVE) as a straightforward term meaning “awake” or “conscious.” However, as with many words in AAVE, “woke” carried additional connotations beyond its literal meaning.
Think of the Green Book or the movie Green Book where when traveling in the south, you best be aware of which routes to avoid.
That's all it means. Not any activism.

Hey, that's the first time I have seen anyone attempt to define "Woke". Not bad. Did you come up with that or AI?
