The screenshot being circulated is a 2016 post claiming that preacher Anjem Choudary said in an interview with the Daily Mail that "the 1978 Spanish Constitution states that Spain is a secular state and that no denomination will have statehood" and that "carrying out all the Christian ceremonies and liturgies during Holy Week in Spain is an offense to the thousands of Muslims."

However, there is no trace of any interview in the Daily Mail or any other media outlet in which Choudary cites the Spanish Constitution or calls for a ban on Holy Week in Spain.
