That wasn't a Democrat bill. It was written by a very conservative Republican. The bill would have helped secure the border by adding hundreds of border guards and adding more immigration judges to help with the backlog of immigration hearings.

Republicans could have added to the bill under Trump but instead they are still stuck with a broken border, thanks to Trump.

How is it an abuse of power to stop and see if Trump's use of the Alien's Enemy Act is legal? When you exempt executive action from scrutiny believe me when I say that a future President will do something that will restrict our rights. Instead of quick in the night deportations, Trump should hire more immigration judges and process cases down to days not, years.

False! Biden said give me the power but he already had it Trump has just proved that. As for the bill you claim would have fixed the border it allowed 5000 a day before anything could be done. That was not a fix ! Trump is already below that number. Biden is the one who didn’t want the border fixed. 1 he stopped the wall. 2. He flew in people with little to no vetting. 3. He tied the hands of border control officers from doing their actual jobs ( they supported Trump). 4. He allowed murderes , rapists, drug dealers and human traffickers to enter and operate in the US. It is an absolute farcical joke for anyone to say Biden was for border security and was held back by Trump and Republicans. The facts just do not support that! Trump has done more in just a few days than Biden did in 4 years because he actually is working to fix the border and not just complaining he doesn’t have the power. The border was probably the number one issue the lost the election for Democrats and many still live in la la land on that issue.
