I'll say it a third time - no - someone made a mistake - they should be reprimanded, retrained, warned etc. The warning should go in their personnel file. It revealed no information that the world didn't know hours later. It doesn't rise above a stupid error. Accidently including a reporter in on private discussions is stupid - let's not shoot the man for it.
It's not a site - it is an app that comes pre installed - I wonder why they used it?
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard testified to House Intelligence Committee members Wednesday that encrypted messaging app Signal comes “pre-installed” on government devices — a potentially major shift in official communications on the heels of a massive Chinese government-linked hack of U.S. telecommunications networks last year.
My personal opinion is that they should remove the app before distributing the phone.
But to turn this one instance into a national emergency is ridiculous.
