There was a female bodybuilder, I can't remember her name but she was bigger and more muscular than most men. This happened to her but the officer ended up putting her in a chokehold, it was a big story in bodybuilding circles. She ended up suing.Irs interesting that more people arw upset about this than an actual man getting naked in womens locker rooms.
In a sense the law in this instance is really irrelevant. Let's say for arguments sake there was a law against a man using the women's room.
This STILL could have happened.
There is a LOT missing in this story.
1. Did the officers really order her out of the stalls? Or is she making that up.
2. Did the officers check her ID?
3. Why were the officers using flashlights. Were they really? Restrooms usually have enough light that you dont need flashlights. You can see that in the video.
4. The officers don't seem all that agitated over this despite her claims of their banging on the door and ordering her out. And they are wearing body cams. So let's see the whole incident and not 10 seconds of it.
5. Did the store ask her to leave or did they just see her go in and report it. The store should have gone in and checked to see if everything was okay. They should if they think a man was going into the lady's room. Why's he going in when there a perfectly good men's room? Is he about to commit a crime?
You know good and well this isn't the first time in the history of law enforcement that someone reported a suspicious male entering the womens room.
She lifted up her shirt? They certainly didn't ask her to. Nordid they check her genitalia or ask to.
Some wondered about checking ID. How do we know they didn't?
Look, if you are.trying to look like a man and enter the womens room you should be checked out. How does anyone know you aren't one? Part of this is on her. Because we KNOW for a fact that men HAVE assaulted women in the lady's room.
It's a difficult situation for law enforcement to be put in for sure but they should err on the side of caution
