Only if DOGE instructed, "Have them gone by tomorrow." Otherwise, "fire them ASAP" should have gone through the normal procedure, with "ASAP" being after normal debriefing.

If nobody said, "Hey, we've got to officially debrief them first!" that was malicious compliance.
