The false premise that "God is in control of everything," from the orbit of atoms around elections to the collision of galaxies and everything in between. This theory states that everything that happens in our lives is orchestrated, authenticated, and endorsed with purpose by God. Most who hold to this false teaching have an erroneous concept of sovereignty.
God is in control of everything. To say that he lost control is to say that he's not the Almighty God. Even our free will came by his control. But maybe we are not talking about the same thing.
No, you are right... that is what I am talking about. I disagree. It sounds very good, and it is the foundation of many fundamentalist sermons, but it simply does not pan out with scripture - or logic, for that matter.

It does... as Paul said in Heb 6:1-3 the failure to learn the basics of Christian teaching may prevent you from going on to the higher mature teachings and spiritual maturity. "Faith toward God" is one of those basic teachings. Holding God responsible for all the world's evils certainly affects that teaching and will prevent one from maturing and even pleasing God.
Lol. I know the basics. I'm celebate because my body is a temple. I don't fight with people over worldly matters. I don't lust for wealth or expensive possessions. I'm content with simple things. I pray always and I rejoice in the Lord. I'm not anxious or worried about worldly things. I'm trying to love people in these end times. Love is the commandment.
