Gladiator 2 is easily one of the best historical action epics in a long time.

I wish they'd make more historical epics. I'm tired of fantasy being popular. I want real. Fact is stranger than fiction. I'll have to check it out someday, tho I do have to watch the first one still!

-These have started to be put on youtube videos from back in the 80's and 90's. I have enjoyed watching these from my youth. I have not been in a mall (if they are still around) in probably 35 years.

Cool! I’ll have to check those out! Malls are still around! Tho many are closing, there’s still a lot of healthy ones. The ones by me are still healthy. I like watching videos of declining malls too. There’s something erie & nostalgic about them.

It's been ages since I saw the first one. Liked how this sequel continued its legacy though. Gladiator 2 starts kind of heavy but then becomes pretty inspiring. It has good action too. I would love to see more historical epics. Often times fact is stranger or more entertaining than fiction.

I was watching Mickey’s Christmas Carol last night. So good. It’s my favorite. I used to watch it so much growing up.

I said this year last when I said I watched it, I was thinking it matches a parable Jesus told but I couldn’t match which one. I may need some help here.

The thing that struck to me this time was Scrooge not only becomes generous after his transformation, he's passionate for generosity. (I equate his hostility & now passionate for generosity as hostility & passion for Christ)

I guess it makes me think of the parable where Jesus says there is more rejoicing over a sinner who repents & turns to the Lord than someone who’s always been with the Lord. What else works? Maybe Paul, a persecutor of Christians but now a great evangelist & on fire for the Lord?

Cratchitt also puts a lot of work in & may be even considered Scrooge's enemy, but Scrooge eventually makes him his partner, like we were considered the Lord's enemies but he makes us friends & heirs & floods us w/ blessings

A lot of us more pessimistic people like the Grinch. But do you know what happens at the end? His heart grows 3 sizes & he returns Christmas.

Sonic 3 is definitely one of the best movies of 2024. There are some weak parts, mainly the humor at points, but most of it is really good. One thing that I couldn't help but notice is how great it looked. It has great style pretty much the entire time. It's a movie that knows the importance of cool and fun and does them really well. Shadow's story line was adapted really well from the game. Makes me wish they'd remaster Sonic Adventure 2.

I am watching Broncos v. Bengals now. Going into OT tied at 24 following a last-second TD by Denver. What a whale of a game...

Glad to hear! I really really really enjoyed the first 2. My buddies are seeing the 3rd tonight but I had to work late. I can't wait to see it!

The whole trilogy is good but this might be the best one. Hope you and your friends enjoy it.

I finally watched Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Broly as a character originated in movies considered non-canonical, because Akira Toriyama wasn't involved. This movie makes Broly an official part of the main franchise. It also reimagines him to be more unique and likeable. Cheelai is a totally new character. It's easy to see why she's becoming a fan favorite. Her green skin and Frieza Force outfit gives her a different design and she makes a great friend (or more?) to Broly.

I’ve been watching Dr Insanity on YouTube. He does police interrogation analysis. It’s so good! I’ve been trying to find a police interrogation video analysis after I finished all of JCS’s & could never find a channel I liked but he does a really good job. Some Christians tell me I shouldn’t watch true crime, but it really makes you grateful for what you have, you can't live in a bubble. Plus I do watch Christian videos on YouTube as well.

I watched a couple NHL games too!

YouTube had some old Nickeloden Christmas specials on it so I was watching that
