So you deny others what you would give to yourself. Therefore proving you don't love all equally. You love yourself to some degree more.
Nope. If someone needs something and asks, I help. How do you equate that with denying them ? Strange.
The only people God exhibits this sort of self giving love is to saints and I do not believe I am called to be a saint.
I think you fail to understand scripture. We are called saints in scripture. Are you baptized in the Trinitarian manner? If so, the Spirit lives within you. You may receive many Spiritual gifts but we can all love.
So love is independent of action? How did God demonstrate his love for us? Through word or action?
Both.
Do you want your family to lack things so that what they have may go to others who are more deserving? Why not?
I do what God tells me to do.

Who said we had to provide for them?

I think you've implied it several times in this very thread. "We have to love everyone!"

Postwar consensus Christians would call someone "hateful" for wanting to shut off all immigration and redirect all social welfare towards American citizens, i.e. mostly European descended Americans and black Americans whose families have been living here for centuries.

They would bemoan how a good Christian must always open their arms and invite the whole world to their country, or else they are a hateful xenophobe/racist.

Actually, this type of "open society" postwar Christianity has defined the culture for the last 60 years or so.

Are they allowed to get jobs?
They should not be able to. They have not been properly screened. We do not know the people are. It is a circular argument. So they are coming in illegally and we have to pay for them, while we ourselves have needs that our tax dollars should br used for.

Our neighbors are all over the world. A Christian can love their neighbors, children, immigrants, etc... equally, and still provide for their children.
Well said.

Are we providing for our own? Fema money for disaster relief was gone when the hurricanes hit our coast. Those people are still suffering. Lot's of Americans were and are in need, that money could be used for. Letting your own house go for others is not a command for Christians.

We must love one another, that’s true. But some corporations aren’t exactly giving or providing for other people.

In this case it is not Corporations. It is government agencies created for the tasks they are to carry out. That money went to foreigners, to house (in luxury hotels), feed ,clothe, free transpotation wherever they want to go ,and other services and even luxuries like cell phones, credit cards. HHS does not even provide all that.

How about the churches as providers as was originally intended?

Ah, if they are illegally entering your country it is nothing to do with the politics of "liberal democracy", it is not some people in your own country voting to let them in, it is criminal activity doing it.

Either way if you were to let people work, they will not be costing money, they will be adding to it.

What causes you to believe the churches are capable ?
I don't. I was asking someone else what they were intending by their comments. I don't think God intended for Christians to create a theocratic rule in this present world

If they can't work, they won't come......If they work they will be adding to joblessness to Americans, and wage loss...
