Annoying pop-up ads

Does anybody know how to shut off these ubiquitous etopia ads that constantly pop up with every...single...thread you open up on this site? I get so tired of constantly having to delete them in order to just read threads in the forum. It's irritating and frustrating.

They started with me awhile back. I contacted staff and they seemed to have gotten the problem fixed for me. You might contact them and see if they can help. As long as you have been here I’m surprised they have not given you a supporter title yet.

I do not get them on my older computer that uses mypal browser, but i do get them if i us a newer computer.

Are you on Windows or a Mac or Linux?

You can download Firefox and block the pop up ads.

I'm on a Mac and use safari. I haven't had any issues.

You are a supporter as well. I assume it’s because you have given service to CF being on the Angels Team. I used to be a moderator back in the day so I got the gift of being a site supporter which prevents the annoying ads. (And believe me, they are insanely annoying)! I may be mistaken but I thought some were given that status because of longtime loyalty to the site? I don’t know though, staff would have to answer that.

I had to shell out cash for mine. A whopping ten or fifteen dollars. I've never seen a single ad since then.
