Today, with modern science, it is becoming hard to reconcile things such as the age of the Earth, a global flood, and evolution with the Bible.

I agree, it is modern science/scientists which are to blame for the decline.

Who can believe such men as Richard Dawkins & Stephen Hawkins ? Well I for one don't, I believe in the word of God only.

The moral and spiritual demands are great in Christianity. In the Old Testament we can see Israel, Judah, and the surrounding nations turning to idolatry and witchcraft. There appeared to be perks to following idols and demons. Man made religion doesn't have high moral and spiritual demands. But rather they promote greed and sexual freedom.

That's a crude and inaccurate view.

Religion itself is made made, and it often serves human interests, especially those in power.

I know of no decline in the presence of Christ in this world. I know a great exposure and decline of the liars and fakers, including the racist and humanist self-glorifiers, as well as the national quasichristianisms, the quasichristian nationalisms, whether they call themselves churches, states, empires, or combinations thereof. This most explicitly includes those who falsely call themselves christianizers of this world.

Why is Christianity declining both in membership and in clergy? Even the more conservative branches of Christianity such as Orthodoxy and the more conservative branches of Catholicism and Protestantism is declining although not as rapidly as the more liberal and heretical branches. Although Islam (prelest that combines Moon paganism with heretical forms of Christianity), which like Mormonism and Judaism is a cheap imitations of Christianity, is not declining.
It's my understanding Mormonism is declining rather rapidly, and they make up less than 1% of the world's population.

As for Christianity as a whole, If anything, it's a sign of the times.

Get your oil ready. Jesus is coming back soon.

Needs to be repeated.

OK, this is where It might pay to read a lot. There are two main aspects of religion: Manifestation and Proclamation. Manifestation is when the Sacred chooses to reveal Godself to us. We can only prepare and be available. Proclamation is communicating to others that manifestation. Proclamation over shadowing Manifestation is just boring preaching and meaningless rules. According to Mircea Eliade and Rudolph Otto, we need to tend more to sacred time and place with ritual & symbol, preverbal experiences.

Let's face it. Too often we are bad examples. We Christians are divided, disagree with each other, and consider different-thinking Christians "less than." Our churches are rife with hypocrisy. Many clergy and church staff have abused innocents in their charge or looked the other way. We have confused and intertwined religion and politics, including support of figures that many believe are very Un Christ-like. We are judgmental. We have pastors w/ Rolexes, $1,000 suits, mansions, and private jets spouting a prosperity gospel. These are the Christians who are seizing the headlines. Jesus said you shall know them by their fruits, and what the world hears about too often sends a message that the fruits aren't all that appetizing. Christianity is as good as it every was, but the church can be a bit of a mess. And, yet we ask ourselves why don't want to join us? The church has to do better.

The church has to do better.
Not possible.
The ones who are truthful, exhorting, correcting, to correct what is sin, what is wrong,
are silenced, kicked out, even martyred.....
Until Jesus Returns.

Because it is divided and has been or is being rendered ineffective. Especially in the area of telling unbelievers how receive God's free gift of Eternal Life salvation.
Agreed. Many people never use the law in evangelism. But as Paul said to the Galatians, "Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith" Galatians 3:24. Also, Psalms 19:7 "The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple."

At least I do not have to post deceptive post and try to make is sound like i agree with your works based theology.

Your dishonest theology shines through, too bad many can not see it.

It's a dozen years old by now, but I think there is still something to this post by Rachel Held Evans titled "How to win a culture war and lose a generation". In sum, Christianity is seen by the younger generations and the vast majority of non-Christians as more "anti-gay" than "pro-anything" (as well as being seen as "judgmental", "too involved in politics", etc.).
Maybe not a worry. The opposite might be a bigger concern.
In the Book of Instructions, the Bible, God's Own Word,
it is clear that heaven is anti-adultery, anti-thievery, anti-idolatry, anti-greed, as well as anti-gay.

There's lists , descriptions, of heaven and of who will never be found there, ever, (unless they repent and God forgives them, of course).
