He's a con man saying things to con people. The left does get it. It's his supporters who don't get it. Based on prices caused by world wide pandemic induced inflation, they literally voted for the person who doesn't understand how tariffs work, but will use them to surefire cause price increases. Go figure. We can't afford to bailout everyone like we had to do the farmers last Trump term. Understand, we already had four years of Trump. 75 percent of the country, me included, said it's headed in the wrong direction; so the choice was to either change course, or continue the same direction, on steroids. America chose the former.

It is quite obvious the economy was going the right direction. Worldwide inflation induced prices were dropping. Inflation was dropping. Bank rates to blunt inflation are lowering. What America did was put into office someone who said point blank and many times, that he will enact measures that will raise prices.
