The only way I can rationalize is that one of the females was carrying the DNA. I'm no bible guru and this thread goes against what I thought and it's also interesting.

I don't have a personal theory. The orthodox view as far as I know is demons were angels until they joined with Satan. They went from being God's host, to being Satan's host.

This part of the verse means the Nephilim were on the earth after the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men. In other words they bare children to them who were the Nephilim.

That seems to be the gist of the OP video. That one or more of the wives of Shem, Ham, and Japheth carried angel DNA.

And apparently God was unaware of that, so His plan the wipe the angel/human hybrids off the face of the earth by flooding it failed.

And then apparently roughly 1200 years after the flood, the angel/human hybrids popped up again be wiped out once again by Joshua's army.

But I suppose the angel DNA once again slipped past God, and there's some theory/mythos involving angel/human hybrids currently living among us. Perhaps Shaquille O'Neal and Andre the Giant etc.

O my , was God unaware satan would fall when satan was created? This type of reasoning will never solve anything but trying to answer a question with another question. Was God unaware Adam would fall? You know it is possible there was another angelic incursion. Angels were not wiped out in the flood! These are the facts, there were giants before the flood and after . We are not told how that happened we can only speculate and entertain theories.

You seem to have a list of reasons why this couldn’t happen but it did! We had giants before and after the flood and in both cases God wanted them eliminated . The question should not be why it happened because it did the question should more importantly be why did God want them wiped out.?

I didn't read the translation that says “the same became“. I see it's in the KJV, but not the NKJV. And is also in the ASV, RSV, Webster's Bible Translation, and the JPS Tanakh 1917. But not in any other translations I could find.

I think the keyword there might be "appear". Angels have several different appearances. One of them is basically an eyeball with six wings.
