The US Economy looks quite healthy at first glance but the real issues about debt, deficits, and the unequal distribution of the benefits of growth are not being discussed at all. It is a kind of collective con that both Democrats and Republicans seem to buy into. Declining Social Mobility, the extraordinary waste of resources in the health sector are a big problem. No one is talking.
