  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You are not welcome in a Harris America

Quite a stir when Kamala shows her true colors. The media helps her out by calling the Christians "hecklers."
The hate and contempt are palpable.

How do you know these people were believers, anyone can shout Jesus is lord. Just take a look at Matthew 7.

She is a Christian. Her response was to someone yelling Lies, Lies. Nothing to do with someone being a Christian. Which she wouldn’t have known anyway.
I think he meant traditional, CONSERVATIVE Christians that don't agree with her policies.

The Christians were reported as saying " “Christ is King” and “Jesus is Lord.”
So, Kamala was assuming that Christians did not belong at her rally and needed to go over to the Trump rally. The thing is, the "hecklers" said nothing about Trump. They said something about Jesus. If you love Jesus... she does not want you. She also acknowledged that Christians are more likely to be pro-life supporters and NOT pro-abortion supporters. And she was right about that.
Was it a political rally OR a Christian affirmation rally?

Did the people come to this rally to hear Harris talk about policies or to hear a few random Christians shouting ad nauseam that they think Jesus is Lord.

Obviously the shouting was intended to disrupt the rally and stop Harris from being heard.
Perhaps there is a time and place to be shouting Jesus is Lord, IDK, but it seems that these guys were just trying to be disruptful and not acting with respect or Grace

This thread and these people with their Faux Outrage again, I just don't get it.

I wonder what the response would have been if there were black or Muslim people in the crowd "heckling" her.
Can you imagine Trump telling Muslims they were at the wrong rally? The howls would still be shaking the earth.
Did I miss something? Did Harris say "If you are Christian you must leave this rally?"

Or was she having problems with people shouting over her speech?

She didn't say that. By her own admission, she is Christian (American Baptist Church).

Does it really help move the conversation?
Like if we are all just trying to figure things out, trying to be open minded to arguments coming from both sides of the aisle.
Does it help when some people are just constantly creating nonsense threads, complaining about nothings, putting enormous spin on things to try and make a mountain out of a grain of sand in front of them?

We really should be learning from the story of "The boy who cried Wolf". Once you keep shouting about everything, before long people learn to ignore you. And if by chance you finally have something really important to say, well, people have been conditioned no longer to listen to YOU.

People, your reputation matters. Don't blow it by trying your hand at propaganda and spin. If you want to be taken seriously, pick your battles, and speak wisely. Propaganda like this is foolishness, and becomes a stain on yourself that is difficult to wash off.

I agree with you, especially since we have a separation of Church and state.

Even if she was, say Muslim or Hindu, her religion wouldn't matter.

People should be concerned about her POLICIES only.

Personally, I think that exclaiming "Jesus is King" or something like that to shout down someone you don't like is a prime example of "taking God's name in vain".

Sure. It's like saying in a condescending tone "I'll pray for you."

I tried to hear from a left wing point of view but hard to find. You'd figure if some pro-Trump protestors started a ruckus it be all over the news at least on MSNBC.

Hate from everyone is sickening. What laws are you talking about that violate your civil liberties? We've had Christians since day 1 in government and there aren't Sharia-type laws today. Our laws are liberal and a reason Sharia doesn't like us.

Fox news has an interview:

Actually, after listening to these young men speak, I support them 100%. I'm happy they're speaking up for what they believe in.

Harris doesn't like pro-life traditional Christians.

That's a fact.

I am NOT with her.

Do you have reliable news station . The Fox News channel have been proven to be a station. That completely bends words around

Fox news has an interview:

That is a very dishonest edit. There are two different videos edited together in this clip. In the video before it cuts away and then cuts back to it, she clearly responded to shouts of “Lies Lies Lies” and you can’t hear what these men say.

You can say the same about CNN, which is liberal. It's their LITERAL interview on Fox. Nothing about lies.

Ah, yes. Doesn't the liberal media do the same thing? Sure, the editing is bad, but the young men said EXACTLY what happened.

They said, but it also is getting them their 15 mins. I don’t trust their story.

Have any CNN hosts stood up on stage behind the microphone at a political rally like what Hannity and Pirro did?
Ahead of President Donald Trump’s final election rally, the Fox News host said he wouldn’t appear on stage with the President to help excite the Republican base before voters head to the polls Tuesday.

“To be clear, I will not be on stage campaigning with the president,” Hannity tweeted Monday morning, adding that he would simply “be doing a live show” from the scene.

But, approximately 12 hours after Hannity posted his tweet, he was campaigning on stage with Trump in one of the clearest demonstrations yet of the cozy relationship between the network and the Trump White House.

Hannity appeared on the podium with the president and delivered brief remarks. Another Fox News host, Jeanine Pirro, also appeared onstage with the president.

Were any CNN hosts in communication with the Democrat party on election day asking how they can help like what Hannity did?
On the afternoon of Election Day, Hannity texted Meadows at 1:36 p.m. to ask about turnout in North Carolina. Two hours later, Meadows responded: “Stress every vote matters. Get out and vote. On radio.”

“Yes sir,” Hannity replied. “On it. Any place in particular we need a push.”

“Pennsylvania. NC AZ,” Meadows wrote, adding: “Nevada.”

“Got it. Everywhere,” Hannity said.

Have any of the CNN hosts have their loved one's pardoned by the president?
President Donald Trump issued a last-minute full pardon to Al Pirro Jr., the ex-husband of one of Trump’s most loyal media supporters, Fox News host Jeanine Pirro. Al Pirro previously served a prison term for tax evasion.

Here is the clip without the edit. From this vantage point you hear “lies, lies, lies” and then maybe ”Jesus is lord”. Either way it is not clear like the other vantage point Fox edits in. Hard to say what she heard from the stage , but she is clearly reacting to hecklers, protesters, whatever you want to call them, and using humor to call them out.

Edit: fixed wrong video clip.
