  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Man at Kamala rally thrown out and mocked for saying Jesus is Lord

and that plays out too
that Democratic voters are expected to not be Christian
and that Christians are unwelcome in the modern Democratic Party
I meant the opposite. I am pretty sure she welcomes Christians, but it seems, in the heat of the moment, that she expected them not to be democrats, but provocateurs from the Trump's camp. Its the game of numbers - people shouting these religious chants are mostly pro-Trump.

She should ignore it instead of risking controversy, but thats life - these rallies are free talk and when something like that happened, she decided to react quickly and it brings a higher risk of being mistaken.

Yeah, in the heat of the moment she went with what her heart really believes, not what was politically expedient.

Which is thankful that for once she was honest.
that Christians don't belong in her party.

You are still trying to drive this conversation to "Harris is anti-Christian and Christians cannot vote for her" and I am not interested in that, so I will leave you to it.

#1. That perspective the microphones were pointed at Kamala, they wouldn't pick up someone yelling behind the camera as well. So you don't hear the crowd.
#2. The video cuts from her talking about abortion, to telling people they're at the wrong rally, if the microphone had picked up the yelling of Christ is King, and Jesus is Lord, they edited it out (because the Media doesn't ever want "Jesus is Lord" to be recorded, they always cut that out when they can, and usher people away when they say it live.

In other videos from different camera angles without that edit cut, you can hear what he says.
Ok! Provide the video and prove she even heard it??? This is much to do about nothing, again. Thanks for sharing.

That is your presumption. And likening him to Mussolini is basically the same as likening him to Hitler. You DO want to go their, don't you?
I hope he is not like that. But he is using some wording that Mussolini used. For example, Mussolini told the people he would be their revenge. Trump said, "I will be your retribution."
Retribution for what and to whom? The "enemy within"?

No, I am not saying he is Mussolini. Mussolini didn't go off in his speeches about fictional evil characters, or what the other golfers thought of Arnold Palmer in the locker room (check the news about Trump's speech last night) or play a his choice of music for 30 minutes or so instead of answering political questions.

Nope that is not the case. Christians are welcome. Rude protesters do not belong at her rallies.

It is not wise to go there. And I am not speaking about the rally.

That's too far, but comparing Trump to Mussolini is totally fair game?

I compared what they said. I hope the similarity stops there.

The Democratic part is all about personal rights. There is no objective morality. It is all up to the individual.

The Republican part is fine with an objective morality as long as they define what that is.

That leaves us with a choice.
Do you want to define for your self what is right for you?
Or do you want the government to decide for you with their views on "Christian" morality?

We believe in a God who has defined morality.
Doing "what is right in their own eyes" is generally seen as a bad thing biblically isn't it?

I don't have X. Is this some personal video? This is nuts to think she heard this. Crazy stuff being implied. BTW, she is a Christian. She was introduced to the Baptist Church by her father, Donald Harris, and still identifies as a Baptist today.

Then rely on your church faith community to help define practical matters for you, not the government.

and heavily compromised at the very least, marrying a nonbeliever, and like I said, the mic in certain videos is facing the wrong direction to capture the audio that doesn't mean she couldn't hear it, and further more, the video circulating in mainstream media deliberately CUTS the footage where the guy yells Christ is King, Jesus is Lord.

here you can still hear it without the cut, but it is barely audible to the mic, but you can see her looking right at the guy, raising her eyebrows, and THEN SHE RESPONDED.
She heard it.

You still don't support a party that pushes something immoral like elective abortion.

Some faith communities might leave even that up to the individual. Mine does not. But I don't need a law to tell me.

The wicked do.

Romans 13
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

while I don't think Kamala is the Antichrist.. I was just having a hard time finding a news article to link to but I saw a lot of videos of the exchange..
Kamala Harris is being called Anti-Christ following Wisconsin rally | The Express Tribune

But as the videos show..
x.com
Someone at the rally yelled out "Christ is King, Jesus is Lord!" and Kamala said "you guys are at the wrong rally".. to applause.

So if there was ever any doubt..
and believe me I'm not much of a Trump fan by any means
but a candidate that mocks my Savior? I vote against her. .
If she wants Christians out of a rally... she will not want them in a Harris America. Once again, the democrat leftists show their true colors. These are not "pluralistic" people.
Vote accordingly.

Harris says pro-life protesters are 'at the wrong rally' hours before Catholic charity dinner snub | Fox News Video
