The right lost in 2020 -
Interesting that 2021 was not "year of large riots in major US cities - conducted by the right".
Rather it was 2020 with massive riots, loss of property, loss of life -- and the right was not the group doing it.
History tells the story if we let all the facts in the door.
I will disagree with you.
The riots in 2020 was mostly by poor people taking advantate of actual planned peaceful protesting the murder of a black man. White supremacist and anrchist were the problem as well. Antifa is not left wing or right..
2021 had an actual attempt to stop congress from certifying the election and there was a plan in place to challenge the election.
It is from Trump that we are hearing the idea of using the military in the US against US citizens he sees as the Enemy within.
The threats coming at election workers comes from the right. Threats aimed as witnesses in court cases involving Trump are coming from the right.
Check it out:
Supporters of former President Donald Trump, enraged by his conviction on 34 felony counts by a New York jury, flooded pro-Trump websites with calls for riots, revolution and violent retribution.
After Trump became the first U.S. president to be convicted of a crime, his supporters responded with dozens of violent online posts, according to a Reuters review of comments on three Trump-aligned websites: the former president's own Truth Social platform, Patriots.Win and the Gateway Pundit.
Some called for attacks on jurors, the execution of the judge, Justice Juan Merchan, or outright civil war and armed insurrection.
“Someone in NY with nothing to lose needs to take care of Merchan,” wrote one commentator on Patriots.Win. “Hopefully he gets met with illegals with a machete,” the post said in reference to illegal immigrants.
On Gateway Pundit, one poster suggested shooting liberals after the verdict. “Time to start capping some leftys,” said the post. “This cannot be fixed by voting."
Threats of violence and intimidating rhetoric soared after Trump lost the 2020 election and falsely claimed the vote was stolen. As he campaigns for a second White House term, Trump has baselessly cast the judges and prosecutors in his trials as corrupt tools of the Biden administration, intent on sabotaging his White House bid. His
loyalists have responded with a campaign of
threats and intimidation targeting judges and court officials.
The right invoked violence in 2020 as well:
President Donald Trump insists he deserves no blame for divisions in America.

President
Donald Trump has repeatedly distanced himself from
acts of violence in communities across America, dismissing critics who point to his rhetoric as a potential source of inspiration or comfort for anyone acting on even long-held beliefs of bigotry and hate.
"I think my rhetoric brings people together," he said last year, four days after a 21-year-old allegedly posted an
anti-immigrant screed online and then allegedly opened fire at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, killing 22 and injuring dozens of others.
But a nationwide review conducted by ABC News has identified at least 54 criminal cases where Trump was invoked in direct connection with violent acts, threats of violence or allegations of assault.
After a Latino gas station attendant in Gainesville, Florida, was suddenly punched in the head by a white man, the victim could be heard on surveillance camera recounting the attacker’s own words: “He said, ‘This is for Trump.'" Charges were filed but the victim stopped pursuing them.
As many on the right refuse to acknowledge that Trump lost in 2020, and reacted so badly, what should we expect in November?
