I am excited. Hopefully, there is a live stream of this Starship launch after I get home from church.Starship Flight Five - Scheduled for Sunday Morning. This is going to be huge and a test to see what the SpaceX team has been up to the last few months.

Thank you for the video. Also, the condensation clouds near the ground before the launch are surreal. Must be the coolant or fuel that creates these clouds. Mmm, I love the crackling the ship makes at the 50 second mark. Here's a video of the launch, hot staging, booster return flight and booster catch.

It is a shame the ship had to blow into pieces. Hopefully, that debris is cleaned up from the ocean. Overall, the re-entry was not as interesting as the launch, as the re-entry took place on the night side of the Earth. The initial part was cool, with the bright plasma from the aerodynamic friction. You're welcome.
Here's video of re-entry, splashdown, and explosion

I can not speculate, until we have further information, but I am sure the team got a lot of telemetry on the order of terabytes.I wonder when they (SpaceX) will attempt to capture the Starship vehicle. I am sure they got LOTS of data on reentry and will make even more improvement.
I wonder how the inflight fuel transfer went. I am sure that info will be out in the coming days.
Wish I could see a comet in person, but they are hard to find in the sky. This is so beautiful, almost makes one think that this ship is launching a mission to visit the comet.I think this is the best place to show the photo taken by Cosmic Background Studios. Starship is stacked for IFT5 launch in the early hours of October 13th. In the sky is Comet c/2023 A3

I have watched Deep Impact, it was a good film. Also, I remember the Philae lander, and the mission blew me away. It was not widely publicized, so I did not see the video of the landing until 2018 or so.Comets are very interesting when you can see them. I've seen a couple. I can understand why ancient people saw them as messengers or "omens" from "gods".
There are a couple movies about missions to comets. There is Deep Impact (1998). There is Lifeforce (1985) which is more of a horror-sci fi movie (original title was Space Vampires).
ESA sent the Rosetta Mission to Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko in 2014 and landed on it with the Philae lander. Philae conducted the first in situ analysis of a comet's nucleus.
That is alright, the launch is good enough to be watched twice.Oops! Video repost... Apologies... Was exciting though not sure of all the accomplishments yet..
I am not sure how the ocean landing was sucessful either, but it was the first time Starship was in one piece and touched the water after going to space. But they blew it (pun intended) a few seconds after touchdown.SpaceX Starship Launch 5: Everything That Happened in 5 Minutes.... Not sure how the Indian Ocean landing was successful..
I've been fortunate to see three comets the return Of Halley's comet, Hyakuture and McNaught.Wish I could see a comet in person, but they are hard to find in the sky.
