I asked this in request for Christian advice but didn't really get a clear answer...can I as a man, have long hair??? Or is it a sin??

Ok so if I have long hair but like Jason mamoa for example. That's ok? Cause that man has more testosterone in his left foot then I have in my whole body XD
Yep. Don't go getting your hair elaborately styled or start putting ribbons in your hair and you will be fine. Long hair was also the sign of Samson being set apart for God.

I DONT want to cut my hair. Ive wanted long hair since I was 4 and was always annoyed that I wasn't allowed to grow it out since "I was a boy". But as stated. I will cut it if it is against God. Which the consensus seems to be it ISNT which is good!
Find the scriptures referring to men and hair.
1 Cor11:14..."Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?"
Rev 9:8..."And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions."

Length of hair is a way to differentiate men from women.
How do you want to be perceived ?

Like Samson, obviously. Do you really believe that God would command that Samson's hair was never to be cut if you believe you are interpreting 1 Cor 11:14 correctly?

If God told me to leave my hair long, I would.
But 1 Cor 11 says not to.
So, should I emulate a long haired, reprobate, harlot monger, or should I adhere to Paul's doctrine ?
Samson's life was pretty worthless, until his very last act on earth.

its Based on your conscience sometimes like whatever you don’t do in faith is wrong to you. He’s not waiting who knows to do something and doesn’t do it it is sin to him. Perhaps you could post the scripture about hair length so I (we) could see it. Have it for a while and if the HS shames you then cut. I had to have long hair too and did for a number of years because my family shamed me. But then again they also provoked me to wrath by denying it till I left home.

But my treatment...namely erp requires for me to go against my anxiety. Do what it tells me not to.
But you do not trust the opinions of others on the matter and still remain uncertain. When you are uncertain, how can you fight or go against the anxiety?

You can go against the symptoms of OCD or anxiety only when you are certain you are right and the constantly returning anxious feeling and questions in your head is just a biochemical error in synapses. When you are 50:50 sure/unsure if its a sin, it will not work.

In your treatment, try the carnivore/high animal fat diet. In many cases, a malfunctioning brain is just a starving brain or a brain disrupted with some dietary poisons (eliminate sugar, caffeine, teas, spices (even things like garlic or onions), food additives, high oxalate/lectin veggies...).

Give it a month and you will see if you are getting better. Also, sleep regularly, go to sleep at the same time every day, including weekends. And if you are not getting enough of the outside sunshine, use a good, ideally liposomal D3/K2 supplement. Adding magnesium bisglycinate before sleep wont hurt either. Exercise a bit every day (nothing brutal, just move around, stretch).

Are you following the ways of the OT Nazarites ?

This is Steve Gregg of The Narrow Path | Home
He's one of the most serious dedicated Christians I know of who's taught every inch of the Bible for about 40 years. And he's usually always had long hair.

Right, so there is no validation for long hair on a man.
Was having long hair a dishonor to Samson? Was it considered a dishonor for those taking a Nazarite vow?

It is written..."For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb:" (Judges 13:5)
Long hair on a male was not dishonorable, for one taking the vow of the Nazarite.
For everyone else, long hair on a male was "a shame unto him". (1 Cor 11:14)

No, styling his hair in the manner a woman would do is "a shame unto him". The greek word "κόμα" means a lot more than simply "long hair".
