If there was an app with this description, would it be considered racist?

Make room in your self-care toolbox for Exhale, an app full of accessible resources created with Black women in mind.

This app is curated for white men, so you can lean in and trust this space is cultivated specifically for your emotional well-being journey. We hope that this can be a place you can visit as often as you like to find refuge and healing.
What we love: The specificity of the guided meditations, all catered toward the expansive experiences of white men.

The library covers a range of topics, including connecting with ancestors, focusing on embodiment, and remembering your power.

I am not sure if the app would be racist, but it would be covered with slightly demonic or individualistic undertones. The reason why, is because self-help is not Biblical, nor is embodiment (sounds like a power trip). This stuff sounds New Age, if you ask me. Who needs an app for this, when one could use a Bible, or pray to God? If someone needs cheering up, one must go outside and try to make friends. If that is not possible, one must try to find a church. If all else fails, we ourselves might want to try and make friends with those who have none.

If the app is curated only for white men, or black women, but not everyone, then yes, the app would be racist.

Glad I do not have any apps like this.

Connect with ancestors? How in the world do you do that? Does the app provide online seances?

I didn't vote because I didn't understand a word of the OP (a "well-being journey"???). It appears to be written in female, which I don't speak, so I don't know what the app is or does. However I did visit the website, and it sounds racist.

If anyone can download and use the app - regardless of race - I would not consider it to be racist.

Luke 6:45
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

I think in today's culture of idiots some would see it as such because they want to see evil in everything that doesn't fit in their silly reality.

Black people have specific issues not found in other races.

White men?
Heh, everybody knows they are the scourge of the earth.
"Remembering your power?"
I get it. It's targeted toward senile old white men. Ah, the glory days.

Why bother with an app?
Ship them a bottle of bourbon and some weed.

It’s an app. Anyone can download it.
I don't think it's racist just weird. If white dudes need a safe space to be white dudes, then they're not very aware of their context. White dudes have had a safe space for centuries! Lol. Whatever.

Is there such a thing as a safe space on an app?

You mean for white dudes who use the proposed app because they want to get in touch with their white dudeness? Possibly, yes, the narrow space between their ears.

So as long as anyone can download the it you would not consider Mystfront, an app for The Mystic Knights of the Stormfront to be racist?

I'm going with demonic.

We buy gifts and various things for specific people or with specific people in mind.

A website geared specifically towards black women is almost normal these days? Usually it's because black women often need different hair care and skin products etc.

It's the above that causes me to ignore anything specifically for black women. They are a sizable population in the US and have specific needs that are or can be very real. Marketing products to and for them is a fact of life.. often even from them. Which is cool.

But that website? A very distinct demonic vibe.

I don't know what that is - but no - the app itself would not be racist.
