No. It's a factual statement. Is this an opinion piece of someone who has ever come close to making 1 bil?
At least that's how it's supposed to work.Refugees can't vote either, though they do have an easier path to citizenship compared to illegal immigrants. We also don't get very many of them - about 60,000 last year. And while we admit a lot of asylum seekers, the number of people actually granted asylum every year is pretty low (~35,000 in 2022). Asylum seekers aren't eligible for citizenship unless their case is approved and asylum is granted.
They're not illegals, they're all refugee immigrants.
If you're not here to discuss and argue about American Politics, you're in the wrong sub-forum.I'm not a politically active person who is ready to argue those things.
You'll notice that my comments here lean toward matters of biblical faith.
So the comment I made about temporary "bandaids" for a crumbling society would be
pretty much true of either presidential candidate.
If I am on the wrong discussion thread I'll quiet down here.
But first let me contribute one of my Scripture songs.
All flesh is as grass.
I'm talking about the bulk of people pouring in by the millions in being called refugees and asylum seekers. It's like the male rapist who says he's a woman being told "okay" and then transferred to a women's prison. It's the whatever you say you are policy.I'm not sure what you are talking about. Musk, in his Tweet, clearly stated, "for residents who immigrated illegally to the U.S. to become citizens and gain legal voter status." People who immigrate illegally are illegal aliens, not refugee immigrants. The Great Replacement conspiracy theory is all about how Democrats are allegedly allowing people to cross the border illegally in order to get more votes.
The great replacement theory has nothing to do with votingI'm not sure what you are talking about. What do you think the motive is to allow so many violent criminals into our country? And why the secrecy and the false claims that the border was safe, secure, and closed? Why the initial denial to the media to have access to what was going on at the southern border?I'm not sure what you are talking about. Musk, in his Tweet, clearly stated, "for residents who immigrated illegally to the U.S. to become citizens and gain legal voter status." It’s not just about votes. Greater populations in liberal areas can mean more house seats in the next census.I'm not sure what you are talking about. Yes, California, for example, has extra house seats because of illegals counted in the census. Democrats insist they continue to be counted. It’s not just about votes. Greater populations in liberal areas can mean more house seats in the next census.
Some evidence would help. Well, would help to prove that claim wrong...Yes, California, for example, has extra house seats because of illegals counted in the census. Democrats insist they continue to be counted.
This is unlikely. Musk has never invented anything.Elon Musk may be able to invent some technological bandaids to temporarily "fix" some democracy problems.
I hope that is not an attempt to shadow ban this thread. At what point can we scoop up this thread and plop it into the conspiracy forum?
For a liberal with no real stake in the game that is a naive assessment of why this administration has allowed and encouraged millions of illegals in this nation. Some evidence would help. Well, would help to prove that claim wrong...
California has gained one seat. But Texas did as well. As did Florida. From here: Third Way
'Pew’s analysis also found that undocumented immigrants affected six states in the 2020 census, with three states gaining a seat and three states losing one. The red states of Florida and Texas picked up a seat, along with blue state California. Red states Alabama and Ohio lost a seat, as well as blue state Minnesota. The net result when broken down along partisan lines—a wash. Democrats and Republicans would have maintained the exact same number of congressional seats; there would be no net difference in representation.'
And Democrats and Republicans would be wasting their time arguing about it. It's a constitutional requirement. Article 2, Section 1 if you want to check.
Here's the analysis just before the 2020 census:Some evidence would help. Well, would help to prove that claim wrong...

It's a factual account of the situation. With evidence to back it up.For a liberal with no real stake in the game that is a naive assessment...
I'm not pointing out what I want. I'm pointing out that you made a mistake. I have no idea where you got the wrong information from - it would have helped if you'd supplied that. But at least everyone now knows the facts of the matter.Split the difference if you want.
Not sure what you're talking about. This is in the link I provided:I'm not pointing out what I want. I'm pointing out that you made a mistake. After you had been corrected. And that link isn't talking about the last census, which anyone would reasonably expect the post to be about. But census details over the last few decades. Not sure what you're talking about. This is in the link I provided:
