  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A woman priest could adopt orphans.

Honor thy father and thy mother.

A woman priest could use the title of mother.

Some churches have women priests married to male priests.
The Catholic Church does not and will not
When you look at it, the groups that allow women priests have lost their ability to convicts their followers of sin or even any longer know what sin is.

It is truly the blind leading the blind and both will fall into a pit

Honestly, you keep trying to push a narrative that the RCC should accept female priests and more liberal stances, you really ought to instead go to a church that has all of these things for the reasons you espouse - the Episcopal Church. The Episcopal Liturgy is very similar to the NO Mass, and a standard Episcopal church will seem very "Catholic" in look and worship.

The Catholic Church is the largest church in the world.
It provides connections between rich countries and poor countries.

If it turns it’s back on the modern countries,
those connections might start to fade away.

No it won’t. The gates of hell will not prevail
Modernism is a sin by definition because Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever

All other groups that have accepted women leaders have failed to uphold Christian doctrine.
For 1900 years it was taught that contraception is a grave evil. They knew the proper role of sexual intercourse in Christian life

Then some feminists in the 1800s got it in their minds to overthrow the patriarchy. They endeavored to do this with promiscuity, lack of premarital chastity, then post marital frigidity. Men were lured into relationships with women through the promises of sex, then once married, they were called perverts and oppressors if they wanted to make their wives pregnant. Contraception was used to continue the attack against God’s order.

Contraception was first accepted by the Anglicans, then all Protestant denominations followed suit. They fell for the lie and were ill equipped to resist the attack on God’s order for the role of men and women.

It took the Catholic Church to stand alone against this evil plot in the 1930s, then most Catholics were duped, and it took Paul VI alone to stand and say no. We are the guardians of the faith once delivered to the Saints, the Church will not bend, and modernism is a heresy.

To stand against the feminist lie from hell, all Catholic men should take an oath. I am a Catholic man. Chastity is preferred to promiscuity. The woman with whom I will have intercourse either is to be, or is the mother of my children. I will never use contraception, nor will I have intercourse with a woman who does.

Enough of this. The Catholic Church celebrates women, we do not turn them into men. They are our mothers and sisters, they will never be fathers, ever

By allowing their followers to remain in grave sin, the other groups that call themselves Christian do their followers no favor. They fail to warn their followers of the grave danger their soul is in by continuing contraception. As to your desire for women priests, the Catholic Church does not agree with you at all, and may God have mercy on your soul

Um. No.

Being a priest is a full time job which is why many of them are celibate because their family is their parish.

A priest acts in persona Christi. Only a man can represent Christ.

Blessings

Only if you live in a city- you won't find many Episcopal Churches in very small towns.

Your better bet is a Lutheran ELCA parish. They have female ministers and have a very similar liturgy to the RC Mass.

If some women are afraid of being pregnant,
women priests could answer questions about pregnancy.

Women priests could answer questions about breastfeeding.
If they are celibate- then no.

What's wrong with being a religious sister or a nun?

Or being a consecrated virgin living in your own house?

Nothing.

I guess it depends on where you are, there are quite a few small towns with TEC parishes in the South. But the recommendation for the ELCA is a good one as well, given the leanings of the OP.

I have a two part question for you: How much time have you spent in a Church; and do you have any idea what a Priest or Pastor does (both historically and presently... hint: it has not changed).
