I believe that the illegal immigrants here in the USA who have broken American laws ought to be deported back to the nation from which they came from.

That's logical. What isn't logical is Trump's comments yesterday at his California press conference.

It is not racist because it is ot the skin color we have a problem with. If the issue were say people coming from Germany which is largely white we would have the same issue. Japan ( Aisa) we would have the same issue.
But the cat eating claims of Trump are blatantly racist, and as you have said you are committed to voting for this racist

So yes you are voting for racism.

"We will do large deportations from Springfield, Ohio, large deportations. We’re gonna get these people out. We’re bringing them back to Venezuela.”

So, this is another "what Trump meant to say was" moment?

We're not looking to deport the Hattian migrants or are they just supposed to go to Haiti?
If they are smart they will leave the country before they are deported. It is MUCH easier to come back legally if they do so.

Oh yeah, accusing people of eating pets is super not racist.

Then maybe your candidate should pick on actual illegal immigrants for what they are actually doing.
Racist is judging people based on their race ( skin color) that is NOT what we are doing.

No he is not. You cannot deport a legally landed immigrant
Well, you can if they are not a citizen if they commit a deportable criminal offense, but most here legally ( or illegally) for that matter do not commit a deportable offense. If you are here illegally though that alone should be enough to get you deported.

No, it is not. And in any case, a good portion of Haitian immigrants were granted Temporary Protected Satus (TPS) on January 21, 2010. Their TPS status has been extended ever since by multiple administrations.

Or, accusing entire groups of people of another race of eating peoples pets based on scant evidence.
Except that while wrong that os not based on skin color.

You keep saying "poached some geese" as if they went out in a duck blind and sat there with a 12 gauge, some birdshot, and a couple of retrievers for a weekend of hunting.

My moral outrage over an improperly hunted goose isn't getting there, sorry.

I think the "problem" should be handled by the authorities that deal in that kind of issue with the appropriate laws.

They went to the local park, found geese or ducks so tame they expected people to feed them, grabbed them by the neck and decapitated them. Nobody is calling the police on legit hunters that are legally hunting. They're eating roadkill off the road. They going to the grocery store....eating out of the containers and throwing them on the ground or shelf.

They aren't setting up their first Michelin star restaurant.

You went from a phone call where people were accused of holding dead geese to this?

And no....the geese and roadkill aren't really my biggest concern. It's probably disturbing to the locals and a bit traumatizing for the children....but they're literally taking welfare benefits to the degree that local elderly residents and those in most need are struggling to access them. They don't know how to drive....and are a serious threat to anyone near a road or driving on one. They're getting loans for housing....somehow....and I don't have to look back any further than 2008 or 2022 to figure out why they're getting loans despite not having the ability to afford a down payment or have any credit.

I mean your main complaint does seem to be that the people are attempting to live.

If that be the case fine, but that does not change the fact that we need caps on the people coming over here, nor that IF a particular person violates that status that they should be deported (that person) Moreover, what I was saying was that IF a person is here illegally it is smart for them to leave on their own because if they do so they will not have a deportation on ther record making it much easier to return legally if they choose to do so.

How do you solve a problem among people here legally by deporting illegals?
You make sure that everyone who claims to be here legally can prove their case, deport those who cannot and close the border.

Okay.

nor that IF a particular person violates that status that they should be deported (that person)

I'm pretty sure that if an immigrant commits a serious crime, their TPS status is revolked.
Moreover, what I was saying was that IF a person is here illegally it is smart for them to leave on their own because if they do so they will not have a deportation on ther record making it much easier to return legally if they choose to do so.

...in theory, that's true. In reality, returning to Haiti now would be a death wish for many. Haiti is utterly broken, with reports that 80% Port-Au-Prince is controlled by violent gangs.

Indeed the Chinese people that lived around me were accused of eating stray cats when I was younger.

It was also racist though.

We still need caps on people coming here we simply cannot just take everyone in just because their home country is a mess ( even if the reason is no one's fault

I agree. However, the best long term solution would be to establish order and safety in Haiti. That has been and remains the primary challenge facing the world.
