I would not go so far as to say that the Pope is the Anti-Christ because I do not see him as more than he is. There are a lot of people who are mistaken about a lot of things, just like the Pope. Just because the Pope has a wrong view and is in the position he is in does not mean he is the Anti-Christ.

No surprise from a man who recently said that most men have a good heart - a man who worships The IMAGE of "Jesus" - Who apparently died for no reason.

THE Anti-Christ? I dunno. One of many anti--christs to proceed his coming? It's difficult to deny for one reason - we all know who appears as a being of light.

Genuine Children of God aren't fooled in the slightest. The enemy has got to do a better job than that. Living in opulence and sporting a silly pointy hat is a dead giveaway alone.

For a number of reasons, I do not believe that Pope Francis is the Antichrist, just an unusually liberal Pope with some very unique ideas.

I've actually appreciated some of the things that he's done, or hoped to do (on the one hand) while being blown away by many others (for instance, the fact that he chose to be the keynote speaker at the opening event of the 500th anniversary celebration of the Protestant Reformation is never getting old as far as I'm concerned ). However, saying things like he just did (or anything else that leads people away from Christ instead of towards Him) are not funny.

Finally, I've found that very little of this Pope's career has been lost on our friends over at Lutheran Satire, and just for levity's sake, the following is but one small example of what I mean (it's called, "Frank, the Hippie Pope"). I'll also include another short video of Catholics watching the video and commenting on it as they do.

Anti-Christ represents a system, not an individual person

A beast is a Kingdom or political power. Dan 7:23

The last beast is mixed with clay and iron- so it is a religious and political power.
It would have a man at its head who could speak for it Daniel 7:8
It would make war with and persecute the saints Daniel 7:21, 25

• Was there a great persecution for what this system called heretics

It would “speak great words against” or blaspheme God Daniel 7:25 KJV. In Revelation 13:5, the Bible says the same power speaks “great things and blasphemies.”

• Claiming to be God John 10:33 Is there a man who is part of a system who claims to be Christ on earth

It would change times and law” Daniel 7:25-

• Is there a system who claims they changed God's commandment that deals with time?

There is only 1 system who fits all of these things and the timeline in Daniel/Revelation. It’s not the people but a system. God has good loving Christians in all religions but tells us to come our of our false teachings Rev 18:4

A pope ( not necessarily this one) as the tribulation has not started yet. Could be appointed by the man of sin (beast from the sea) as the world religious leader during the tribulation. But this world religious will be focused on worshiping the god of the man of sin, who will be satan.
