Prayer for the Russia / Ukraine conflict

Hi all,

I have been watching some YouTube videos on WW3 from a Christian perspective. I have long held the belief that the current conflict has been allowed due to the sins of the nations, both the church's prayerlessness and the physical sins of the world. I have also felt that the conflict would turn Nuclear, this filled me with worry. After watching a few youtube videos there was one video where a man had a NDE where God told him the conflict could be avoided, if people would value one another, and God. This got me thinking, rather than just let the events steam roll us, we needed to be praying for the silverlining of God's mercy, and life changing ability to be displaid to the nations. I ask if you are reading this would you covenant with me to not go one day without praying for peace, and God's mercy.

I also have started a facebook prayer group, that you can join if you wish to join in prayer, and contribute.

There is a silver lining. Ukraine is hanging in there. They are now attacking Russia. There are probably life saving miracles on both sides.

I haven’t prayed for Ukraine in a while. Why don’t they just give up to the bully. Their country is already destroyed and the people displaced. I put that into a prayer. I think they are showing a lot of outrage though which is good.

War is awful though but it continues to the end. What about Israel I pray for peace there and for Israel to win. I hate war, I’ve seen what it did to our men in viet nam. Didn’t like it one bit. Jesus will end war after Armageddon with a final victory. Sure hope trump doesn’t start a war. It’s awful but there will be wars and rumors of wars.

Who makes money off of wars? The military industrial complex.
And where does the money come from? Our tax dollars.

Yes, it is true that the sins of the nation leave people to be vulnerable to be overtaken by those who want to use them.

I have prayed for Ukraine. I especially pray for believers and believers to be who are caught up in all that mess. And that they will be blessed and protected and provided for.

Would you give up your home and state? Only part of the territory is enough for now but russia insists that ukraine could never join NATO. So basically you are giving up your security for the future of the whole nation.
