Woo, I am gonna vote for the American Solidarity Party also. Peter Sonski is a good guy. To all the folks who feel that 3rd party is throwing away the vote, we have no choice as moderates to vote for the other candidates.

So despite the legislation making exceptions for health, and exempting the women themselves from legal repercussions, the nays were mostly from the Democratic side of the aisle.


Perhaps a better way to ask the question.

If the republican accusations against democrats' abortion policy (pertaining to "they want it to be legal on demand, up until late term") are bunk, people can easily clear the air on that one.

For those who are staunchly progressive on this issue and pro-choice, which limits would you support for elective abortions? ("elective" meaning, not due to rape/incest/health)

If the answer is "none", then you're proving the republicans' point for them.

Amen to the Didache Christian catechism for calling out abortion's demonic practices. Yet, there are Catholics that support abortion somehow.

Even the modern Catechism speaks out against abortion. All copyright belongs to the United States Conference of Bishops and the Vatican:

Allow me to provide another point of view. Abortion is a completely human thing. It is the natural result of scared people who lack the resources to care for a child and to demonize and demean them is to dehumanize the very real difficult choices they have to make. Nothing supernatural required.

Evil is always justified. Justification ≠ good

Hitler had justification. But we all look back at what he did as evil. It is my hope that sometime in the future we will view abortion the same way as Hitler. Abortion is the holocaust of our time.
