  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Russia may very well be stirring the pot in many ways but Trump is most certainly NOT colluding with them. This is s worn out liberal tactic again rearing its ugly head.
Except for the fact that the liberals had nothing to do with the investigation into the Trump Campaign members working with the Russians in the lead up to the 2020 presidential election.
That investigation started with the FBI and was continued by the Special Council appointed by the REPUBLICAN acting AG.

This place is going to be so ugly two months from now.
Not just this place but America in general. If we make it out of this election year without more civil unrest in America (possibly even major civil unrest) I will be shocked!

We have the pre-positioning of "the deep state stole Trump's victory" all over this thread, why not some planning for the next Capitol insurrection. SMH.

That was not an insurrection at the Capitol. It was a riot.

It was also an instigated set up and a diversion. When you have the msm in your back pocket it makes it very easy to set the narrative. What happened during the summer of 2020 was much worse but it did not fit the narrative so it was basically swept under the carpet by the msm.

If Trump wins you will know democrats didn’t cheat enough. As was the case with Hillary.
In another thread, I asked you for evidence that there was cheating in the election. You did not answer (in that thread).

What a shock.

What hoax? The Trump administration colluded with Russia. That's a fact.

*campaign. Any Trump collaboration with Russia in 2016 occurred before he became President.

It is clear that Russia tried to help Trump in addition to their general interest in sewing chaos.
There is credible evidence that certain high members of the Trump campaign were aware of some of Russia's assistance.
There is plausible evidence that a couple Trump election aides cooperated directly with Russian agents regarding the campaign assistance (Manafort, Stone).

Evidence will not always lead one to the proper conclusion. I guess you have conveniently forgotten a few years ago that democrats were voicing concerns about cheating in elections through the possibility of manipulating voting machines and mail in ballots. When things worked to their favor anyone who challenges an election is now an election denier . There has been cheating for many years at different levels by both sides. Just ask yourself which party generally promotes no voter ID, changed voting rules, pushes to register illegal aliens ? Democrats have so gaslighted the American public on a host of issues many are afraid to speak up for fear of being called an election denier or a racist. Things are beginning to turn in this country more and more are speaking out . You want me to show you a video of someone confessing to voter fraud but I doubt you would believe that if you saw it. There is mounds of evidence of voter fraud but when the press, politicians and the courts suppress it there is little that can be done for change. Again do not forget just a few years ago it was democrats voicing concerns about election fraud.

There was no insurrection at the capitol, a riot yes but no insurrection that is a liberal fantasy and gaslighting.

It has never been shown that there has been systematic fraud in elections by any party. Certainly inspection of the ballot has shown isolated examples of people voting more than once in elections. Republican voters came out top in 2020, but in no case was any election result changed by these votes.

There is not. There are many unsubstantiated claims of electoral fraud but absolutely no evidence of systematic fraud by either side.

What has happened in various states are attempts to adjust voting areas to reduce one party's chance of winning - jerrymandering. This has been a Republican tactic in recent years.

And just a few years ago it was democrats concerned about voter fraud! Why was that? It all just magically went away when they won? Now we have the most secure elections ever??? What did they fix? Not buying the liberal propaganda.

Spot on! I will add it was an instigated riot and a set up to create a diversion. Kamala Harris cited "January 6th, 2021," as one of three dates that "echo throughout history" as an occasion on which American democracy came under assault, along with the attack on Pearl Harbor, and the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Complete exaggeration! Democrats are good at exploiting and abusing the word democracy and they are also good at projecting. The numerous riots during the summer of 2020 were much worse than the one riot at the Capitol on J6, but those numerous riots have been conveniently swept under the carpet by Kamala Harris and the msm because they do not fit their narrative.

I remember in detail where I was when I first found out about 9/11 and experiencing anxiety over it. I imagine I would've had the same experience with Pearl Harbor. I don't remember at all where I was when I first heard about Jan 6th. The only reaction I remember having was thinking "those idiots".

I have full confidence in the moderation team cracking down on any excesses. We might have a few members who aren't allowed to participate in the after-election discussions, though.

Personally I'm not so sure. I think maybe there'll be a "been there done that" factor.
