In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

All believers are sealed by God Ephesians 1:13, 4:30, Rev 22:4

The 144,000 represents the "Remnant Jew" that will be saved and added to the church on earth as seen in Romans chapter 11

These 144,000 are also seen as the church in the wilderness during the 3.5 year tribulation when they flee Jerusalem Rev 12:6, Micah 7:10-18
The 144000 follow the lamb. They dont try to save their lives by fleeing into the wilderness.
Jesus didn't flee from death .

Mathew 16
21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.

22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”

23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life[f] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.

They are not going to flee from the Israeli government in Jerusalem .

I believe differently. Most tribes scattered abroad. That's why God is able to tell Abraham that his seed will be as the sand on the seashore. I don't think that fits Judah and Benjamin.
You don't get what I am saying, God FORSOOK FOREVER those people, they will never be Jews again. But God saved himself 7000 peoples, 7 = Divine Completion, why can people not understand that a lot of the people of the 10 tribes HATED the wickedness in the Northern Kingdom and lived in Judea/Jerusalem and worked there. So, lets say you had a WICKED New Jersey who all got toted off and they were a unique tribe, a lot of New Jersey people live in New York City, so the New Jersey SEED would have never been lost. Same thing with Israel, God stated he saved seed from every tribe, He is not counting the wicked whom He dispersed. You want to count them, to God they are no longer part of Israel, to God they are now Gentiles.

What do you think this verse means in regards to the House of Israel?

James 1:1 "James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

God stated he saved seed from every tribe

That's what I'm stating but not all that are scattered abroad are wicked as noted by this verse.

James 1:1 "James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
It can be all Israel whom he was writing unto, but he could also have known about the Northern Tribes (now Gentiles) who were scattered abroad and trying to evangelize them. It doesn't mater that they came from the loins of the 12 tribes, God forsook them forever.

The biggest mistake you make is you do not grasp that no tribes were ever lost in God's eyes. He says in Isaiah I have saved 7000 men unto myself, which does not mean 7000, it means Divine Completion. It might be 850, or 14,000, matters not, if ONE MAN from every tribe still lived in Judea/Jerusalem then those 12 tribes carried on, all Israel came from ONE MAN Abraham, so ONE MAN from each tribe would do just as Abraham did, the point is, you are not thinking it through, there were never any LOST TRIBES, that came from the Worldwide Church of God cult who has England as the Lion, and the USA as the Eagle et al.

That's what I'm stating but not all that are scattered abroad are wicked as noted by this verse.
Well God saw them as too wicked to continue as a part of Israel because Jesus had to be birthed. We are all evil before God, thus once Jesus was birthed everything changed now God can look at us all through Jesus' blood. Those 10 Northern Tribes however will never be a part of Israel again, they are Gentiles in God's eyes, but Gentiles can be saved. The whole point was There was NEVER any lost tribes.

. And just because most have scattered doesn't mean God doesn't know where they are.
This was my first post which basically states they are not lost in God's eyes.
The biggest mistake you make is you do not grasp that no tribes were ever lost in God's eyes.
I never said they were.

And James was talking to believers in Christ as noted by the letter. He's talking about their faith, etc.

I don't believe this. The house of Israel will be united again.

Jeremiah 30:3 "For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it."

Israel, -10
Judah-2
Both are noted, Israel and Judah.

Jeremiah 31:33-34

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

These were written well after the 10 tribes went into captivity.

The problem is many people today still try and fit all of the tribes into 1 or 2 and call that the House of Israel.

I don't believe this. The house of Israel will be united again.
They already have been, the Jews who departed Israel starting in 70 AD were ALL 12 Tribes. When they moved back they were ALL 12 Tribes. They came back as the WHOLE HOUSE of Israel, see Ezekiel 37:14-17 God says He will bring back the WHOLE HOUSE, He already has.

So, if God promised all Israel would be saved, He is not saying every Jew but each tribe will be represented. Likewise, as long as all 12 tribes has SEED in the end times, God does not nee those he cast off to be a part of Israel, there will be 2/3 who will die as per unto Zech. 13:8-9.

One day it will come to you sister that God forsook those, but He still has 12 tribes in Israel and they are NOW LIVING in Israel. We do not have to wait on anything, Gog and Magog is at hand now. Jesus will be ruling within 10 years, meaning the Rapture and 7 years of Tribulation must all happen before 2034.

We disagree the 144,000 is the church in the wilderness, they are sealed and added to the church on earth

The "Two Witnesses" will rule the 3.5 year tribulation through plagues, a remake of Moses/Aaron against Pharaoh of Egypt

The 144000 don't flee into the wilderness.
They stay in the land of Israel and preach to the lost sheep of the house of Israel as Jesus commanded them to do in the gospel. They don't flee from anyone.

They don't seek to save their lives.

Revelation 12

17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

They will decieve the people in Israel to take the mark of the first beast who's deadly wound was healed.

So you believe the 144000 do not follow the lamb.
Instead you believe they will break Christs command to not leave Israel and will flee out of Israel.

That is what you said correct?
You said they leave Israel?

Here are the men of Israel being sealed in the foreheads in Israel.Where does it say they leave Israel?

Ezekiel 9
9 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.

3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;

4 And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

7 And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord God! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?

9 Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The Lord hath forsaken the earth, and the Lord seeth not.

10 And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.

11 And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.

Where does it say they leave Israel and go into the wilderness during this tribulation?
Everyone in israel.is being killed.Yet they are still there.Yet you say they are not there.

And this man will cause them to rule for those 3.5 years.

Daniel 11:39

He will attack the mightiest fortresses with the help of a foreign god and will greatly honor those who acknowledge him. He will make them rulers over many people and will distribute the land at a price.

Jeremiah chapters 29-31 speaks of Israel returning to Jerusalem from the 70 year babylonian captivity, he was a prophet sent to Israel in the captivity long ago "Fulfilled"

Jeremiah 29:1KJV
Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;

Only a Remnant of Israel will be saved, Romans chapter 11

Jeremiah 31:7KJV
7 For thus saith the Lord; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O Lord, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
AND?
Read the context of the passage, a Roman Centurion had come to Jesus and asked Jesus healing someone who had palsy, and Jesus was like, I will come and heal him, then the centurion said Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter my house, just say the word and he will be healed.

That is when Jesus said he had not found so great a faith in all Israel, and that many will come from the east and west and sit down with Abraham (the father of FAITH)....see the point he was making now? Then he says the children of Israel will be cast into outer darkness, but that is a two fold prediction of prophesy.

Israel would be taken away as the vessel God was going to use to evangelize the world because of disobedience, and that mantel was going to be given to the FAITHFUL Gentiles. And its also Jesus showing them that the whole world will have a chance to come to God through Faithful Abraham's seed, Jesus Christ the Messiah of the world, meanwhile many Jews will not make the Kingdom. It has ZERO to do with the fact that after the 2nd Coming Jesus will rule with Israeli Jews via the 1000 year Kingdom Age.

If you listen, here what he is basically saying, see this Gentiles faith? Many more Gentiles will come unto the Father by Faith in me the Redeemer, and many children of Israel will follow Satan the liar. But here is what you miss, 1/3 of the end time Jews will repent, a FAR HIGHER NUMBER than in the overall world. We see now this world has like 2 Billion out of 8 billion people as Christians and Jesus says 5 of the 10 will not make the Rapture (Wedding) when he returns for the church, the exact same ratio as the ONE LEFT and the ONE TAKEN in Matt. 24:36-51. Half the Church are FAKES, they love Satan more than God. So, that means only 1 billion out of 8 billion are true Christians in Christ, thars closer to what 12 percent? So, the Jew will come to Christ at a far higher percentage than the Gentiles.

Jerusalem from the 70 year babylonian captivity,
Yes, Judah/Benjamin and some of Levi returned after the 70 years in Babylon but this isn't in reference to the 10 tribes who went into captivity before Judah.(Over a hundred years before)They have not been reunited with them.
to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;
The 10 tribes went into captivity to Assyria, not Babylon. So they were not carried away by Nebuchadnezzar.
